Camping Adventure, Ladakh
Camping is an adventurous activity preferred by travelers who love the great outdoors and spending time surrounded by the beauty of nature. Getting away from the luxury of our home to enjoy a peaceful night under the star lit sky is a different experience. Resting in such a surrounding relaxes our mind and body. Being in that serene environment is equal to meditation which enables self-awareness. Camping allows enjoying nature along with knowing yourself. Camping in Ladakh is very popular among adventure seekers. Accommodation in most of the tourist areas of Ladakh is either unavailable or costly. Hence, camping is the best option which is both cost effective and thrilling. Mobile signals are not available in most of the tourist areas of Ladakh. Spending your days in camping in Leh Ladakh without mobiles, traffic, climatic heat and the pressure of daily life is a tremendous experience beyond words. There are many camping sites available in the lively land of Ladakh. For cheaper accommodation, choose Chadar tents. The prices of other camping sites vary according to the comfort and location of the camp.
Many Chadar tents are available on the Manali Leh highway. But proper camping is available only near Sarchu. If you are going to set up your own tent, there are plenty of spaces after Rohtang in Ladakh, Srinagar to Leh highway road is usually not preferred for camping due to the army presence on the road. Nubra valley doesn’t have any camping sites but you can find free space to set up your own camp. Get advice from local people and set up the camp near any village for your safety. Camping on your own in this place is a little difficult since most of the places near the lake are occupied by the campsites.

Trip to LadakhOverall we had a god trip with Milli Group completed on 12 th Sep 2019 , but I would like to call out few instances which caused unnecessary hassle : Stanchin (leh local coordinator) didn't gave a welcoming behavior He never asked whether we reached, health conditions etc. Driver and Cab he sent on the first day of the trip was not up to the mark, cab windows were not working , it was making weird sound uphill , driver was driving recklessly in spite asking him to control. We booked for 6 cheater car, But he asked for extra money for innova , we were not given any prior information regarding that. He tried to change the itinerary talking to the driver , without discussing with us . In spite of making the entire payment we were told that 84K is due, we had to sent screenshot ,date of payment etc. to the agent, there was lot of communication gap between travel triangle and local agent. Local agent shouldn't be asking for payment as we had a pre-paid trip But, Nubru driver who was given for rest of the days , was good and cooperative , he helped to make a good finish to the trip .
Trip to LadakhOur trip to Ladakh with Milli Travel was fantastic, We were 10 friends & all the arrangement was hassle-free from hotel to renting bikes. As Milli travel is situated in Srinagar our communication lost with the executive just before a few days of our traveling due to the abolishing of article 370 in J&K. The team traveled to Delhi & contacted us to make sure all the arrangements should be proper & connect us with their representative in Leh. I admire the courtesy they show towards the customer. Apart from Milli, the representative from Travel Triangle also did a great job in customizing the travel plan. Overall we had a great memorable trip with Milli Travel & Travel Triangle. Also thanks to the local representatives of Leh.
Trip to LadakhWe had a very bad experience. The agent was very rude. We continuesly missed flights due to their irresponsible behavior. The place was beautiful.
Trip to LadakhLadakh Trip by Mili Group management is good. Our overall experience is 7/10. Manager Firdous was very humble, caring and kind. As decide, there should be 500 cc Royal Enfield, but 350 cc Royal Enfields were given. That's not a big point but still it should be managed. Car was very dirty which was given on the the first day. On Second day, it was better but not satisfied. We had a very bad experience in pangong lake in IBEX cottage suggested by Mili Group. Bad Food and Bad Service. 1. Hotel Singge Palace in Leh was very good. 9/10. 2. Hunder Resort in Nubra Valley was Good. 7/10. 3. IBEX Cottage in Pangong was Bad. 1/10.
Trip to LadakhWould like to appreciate Niharika from Travel triangle and Pooja from Holiday Excel for organising and making changes at last moment due to revocation of article 370. Just few things spoiled the experience of the trip. Hotel Monal Manali was the worst hotel ever, we got better facility at camps in remote locations than this hotel. Broken door locks, no toiletries, no light bulbs, paper plates for food, n glasses than stink more than public washroom. Our driver from Leh to Sarchu( Imtiaz ) being a local we expected little guidance from him regarding which places are best to visit at what time. Also he changed the order of visiting few places which resulted in we missing the light and parade at Hall of Fame. Stay at hotel ladak palace and late night games with frds in camp. Thanks for making it possible.
Trip to LadakhThis is my second trip through travel triangle I trust them and there package is reasonable competitive to others I prefer only you guys My feed back is that the agent needs to inform about the one time fee if the payment is made by cc or netbanking One of the most beautiful place in india it's a must visit to all. Very well organised by the tourist department of ladak very clean very silence very safe
