Located adjacent to Upper Lake in Bhopal District, Madhya Pradesh; Van Vihar Wildlife Sanctuary is a home to rich biodiversity. Declared as a National Park in the year 1979, it spans over an area of 445.21 hectares. A hybrid between a national park and zoo, it draws a huge number of tourists every year.
