By Air
Nashik is the third-largest district in Maharashtra by area and population, and it is served by the Nashik Ozar International Airport, situated about 24 kilometres from the city centre. The airport offers direct domestic flights to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Indore, Lucknow, and Nagpur. It also connects internationally to Germany, France, Italy, and more. You can hail cabs and shared taxis to go from Ozar to Nashik city at the airport.
By Train
Nasik Road Railway Station is situated on the outskirts of Nashik city, about 12 km away. It is an A1 category railway station - one of the oldest and busiest ones in the country. Almost 300 trains stop at the railway station, and it is also named one of the cleanest stations in the entire country. The connectivity is excellent, especially for cities in Maharashtra, such as Mumbai and Pune. You can also access multiple trains daily from Nashik to all the major metro cities. You can get a bus or a taxi to the city from the railway station for at most 150-200 rupees.
By Road
The road network extending from Nashik is excellent. Nashik is on the Mumbai-Agra national highway and is also connected to Pune via NH-50. Surat, Aurangabad, Dhule, Ahmednagar, and other cities are also easily accessible from here. The Mumbai-Nashik expressway also reduces travel time between the two cities, although it is often congested. Frequent government and private buses run between the various Maharashtrian cities.
