About KL Tower in Kuala Lumpur
Menara Kuala Lumpur Tower is a communications tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The KL Tower is a 421 meters tall building, that provides one of the most stunning views of the city, and the KL Tower observation deck at the height of 276 meters. The KL Tower skybox provides a unique experience of the city in a panoramic view that will help you see the whole city uninterrupted and provide you a full 360-degree experience. As you move up and reach the KL Tower Skydeck, you get to view the city from its mesmerizing height.
Significance of KL Tower:
The 7th tallest freestanding tower in the world took 3 years to be completed and houses various broadcasting organizations and is primarily a broadcasting and telecommunications mast. The antenna on top of the tower broadcasts free-to-air television channels. The tower is also the site for an annual race to the top of the building with the racers climbing all the way up through stairs. The tower is also used as an observatory during the months of Ramadan to observe the phases of the moon.
