Casela World Of Adventures (Cascavelle)
The Casela World of Adventures is one of the leading attractions in Mauritius. The park is divided into four thematic worlds. The Casela World of Adventures is a part of the Yemen Reserve. The reserve occupies 500 hectares of land and falls between two of the longest rivers on the island called the Rivière du Rempart and Tamarin River.
Casela Nature Park Activities
The Casela Adventure Park offers a number of leisure activities like speedy rides using off-road vehicles and safari. A day at the Casela World of Adventures is full of activities, excitement, and amusement. There are activities designed for every kind of tourists. In the four thematic divisions of the park, tourists can enjoy the activities in Casela below:
The Safari Kingdom is one of the best places to enjoy exhilarating Casela Mauritius activities like photo safari and safari quad biking. There is an area dedicated to big cats and for interaction with giraffes, rhinos, and lion walking. Camel riding safari and horse safari are also offered by the Casela World of Adventures. The natural kingdom hosts animal shows and has a bird and canopy park. The mountain kingdom offers activities like canyoning with the help of a Ferrata, zip lines, and wall climbing.
The Discovery Center or Casela Bird Park offers many interesting activities for children and tourists. This section is home to about 1,500 exotic birds and a Walk-Thru Aviary. Visitors can watch 4D cinema, and study maps on the discovery of natural science and the history of the island country. Casela safari adventure allows visitors to spot many fruit bats, pink pepper plants, tamarind plants, macaque monkeys, hares, ebony, mongoose, Java deer, and wild boars.
The Casela World of Adventures offers children activities like the Zookeeper for a Day Kids Package. Children are allowed to become a zookeeper for an entire day. Under this program children from the age of 8 to 14 are allowed to enjoy the site and become zookeepers. They can take part in the food preparation, observation of the animals, and food distribution. Casela Park entrance fee for children is 15 Euros while it is 22 Euros for adults.
The Casela World of Adventures has facilities for both adult tourists and children. There are children mini-clubs which has slides, swings, and games. Anniversaries, engagement, birthdays, and weddings can be celebrated at the Casela National Park.
