How to Go to Auckland
Read about the best & quickest routes to save time & money, as suggested by our travelers
There are no direct nonstop flights to Auckland from India. But there are multiple connecting ones that you can avail. One of the best India to Auckland flights is flown by Thai Airlines from Delhi, which takes around 16 hours 35 minutes to reach via Bangkok. Malaysia Airlines does it in 17 hours 50 minutes via Kuala Lumpur and Singapore Airlines takes 19 hours 20 minutes via Singapore. These three names are the most frequent carriers. Others are Qantas, Air India, jet Airways and air New Zealand, but they mostly operate jointly with another airline. India to Auckland flight time from Mumbai is actually even lesser – 16 hours 15 minutes is the best time provided by Singapore Airlines and Air New Zealand together. From Chennai, it is 16 hours 30 minutes by Singapore Airlines and Emirates.
Auckland has a very efficient underground railway network operated by Auckland Transport. It has four lines – eastern, southern, western and the Onehunga line, which serve all around Auckland. From India, there are no railway links directly to Auckland for the same reason there is no roadway. But once you land in Auckland, this railway system will be at your service.
Auckland roadways are very well-maintained and the transportation systems are ideal for local tourism. Britomart is the central hub for all the major transportations, including bus and ferry. Different carriers like SkyBus, Northern Busway, CityLink and InnerLink Bus all have their hubs here at Britomart. Across Britomart Station, there is the Auckland Ferry Terminal as well. However, there are no roadways to go from India to Auckland directly, for the obvious reason that New Zealand is an island country.

Thakur Mahek Mt
Thakur's 7 days trip to AucklandThankyou Travel triangle for such an amazing trip to New Zealand, as it was my honeymoon trip so I wanted to book the best possible trip ,the hotels were amazing, all the bookings were pre confirmed ,it was a very comfortable trip, Mr. Amit was very helpful during the whole trip despite of time difference of 7.5 hours between India and New Zealand he was always there to assist us , we are very satisfied with your team and we look forward to book our next trip soon with you.
Vivek's 10 days trip to AucklandWe booked our New Zealand through travel traingle and hub holidays. Our plan was customised as per our requirements . Hotels, flights, meal, activities , self drive car everything was good. We did not face any issue during our trip. The only set back was Franz Joseph hotel which was 30 mins away from the main city. Other then that everything was good. We did not have a good experience with the visa team though. They were not aware of all the documents needed and we're not even aware that new Zealand tourist visa is an e visa for Indians, we being in Bangalore had to send them documents couple of time. Also they were rude no customer obsession. The 1 start that I have deducted is solely for travel relations the visa company. At one point we felt we could have done processing for our visa and it would have been much faster. But the experience we had with travel traingle and hub holidays is 5*. New Zealand and it's beauty. Self drive with Toyota RAWA Spinnaker's bay apartment Glaciar ride with snow landing Milford sound trip
Surabhi's 10 days trip to AucklandTravel Triangle and hub holidays helped us to plan and customize our tour. We had a really good experience. All the hotels were good. Queens Town properties had a mesmerizing scenic lake and glacier view. We received all the vouchers timely and did not face any issue during our trip. All our hotels were in the central location except for fox glaciar one. We did not have a very good experience with visa however which was done by travel relations. They were not aware of the documents and type of visa and kept bugging us but travel triangle was able to sort it out. Queens town apartments and the view. Glacier helicopter ride Franz joseph Milford cruise and the waterfalls Driving in new Zealand Indian food in new Zealand . It is comparable to indian restaurants.
Jignesh's 13 days trip to AucklandMy tour was planned by Mr Amit of hub holidays. It was planned very nicely. Amit is a very positive person. My tour was very nice and every thing was smooth. except some last hour cancellation at waihiky tour. but I received refund for the same.
Puneet's 4 days trip to AucklandThe Package was well understood and compiled as per my requirements. Quick response from the team. Feedback on my Bookings : 1) Rental Car : I was not informed on the Insurance for the car being provided. Nor was it mentioned on the voucher, hence I had to pay $94 dollars for the Insurance.I later came to know that i was provided with a basic Insurance. But obviously I had already paid for Insurance. Secondly the car was hired for 4 days but i actually used it for only one day i.e. while going from Queenstown to Christchurch. Day 1 hotel was within the city and all Activities were within 500m hence it wasn't used. Day 2 Milford hence not used. Day 3 Queenstown to Christchurch used it. Day 4 Hardly used it, only for City Centre. Hence I could have done with only 2 days instead of 4. This information as a planner you should have known. 3rdly I was offered a Petrol car , petrol is a dollar costlier and the average is also less. This being a road trip the car should be offers accordingly. 2) Hotel The Hotel in Queenstown was very good. The Hotel In Christchurch was a Motel and 7 KMs away from the City Centre. Which I found was not upto the standard as compared to the Queenstown hotel. Overall I found the Trip prepared was not cost sensitive. I could have saved alot in comparison to what I have paid. Milford Sound Tour
Vineeth's 14 days trip to AucklandMy Wife and I had planned to visit New Zealand and wanted a mix of both adventure and a romantic experience. we shortlisted HubHoliday among the various agents. though their pricing was a bit high, the coordination was excellent. Thanks to Mr.Amit for planning it really well in such a short notice. He kept checking on us not just before the trip, but even when we were there. we trusted him blindly on this entire process and he never let us down even once. we had no complains and we thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon. looking forward to making more memories via HubHOLIDAY. ;)
