Driver behaviour was worst. Driver took us to the places where he could get more commissions. Stopped cab in the middle many time and went outside but didn't informed us where he went. We had to call and ask about that. Always asked us to go to those places which are not itinerary like solang valley is not good, vehicle will stay before 3 km either you have to walk or go via horse So go to hampta pass for that you need to pay extra to me. Same happened for khajjiar also he didn't took us to there by saying roads are closed.

I had a great experience in this trip of himachal. The cab driver daljit singh was very helpful, co-operative, very humble and good human being. He encouraged me in paragliding. Above all it was a wonderful trip. Hotels were good. In rohotang pass in manali, while horse riding in naldehera, while rafting in kullu and enjoying in khajjiar of dalhousie.

The trip to Himachal was a completely refreshing experience. 1. The trip started with driver picking up right at time from Chandigarh airport and subsequently dropping us at Shimla airport. The hotel Alpine Hildon was a bit dissapointing with the services however Upasana(coordinator) was quick to service any issue. It should be mentioned here that Upasana had advised me against choosing the hotel however I relied on google ratings. The trip went good with we visiting all the local spots and mall road twice. 2. Kufri was a very good experience. I would recommend people to go for various games the place has to offer. We had a good photoshoot session. The food at Alpine Hildon was just fine and the services were bad. Had it not for Upasana the start of the tour would have been bad. I will warne the people not to choose Alpine Hildon hotel. 3.Manali was a riveting experience, the hotel was superb with nice services and great food. Though we didn't ask upasna arranged a nice candle night dinner which was a pleasant experience. Earlier,The site of snow peak mountains made the drive enjoyable. Afterwards, the visit to local spots and specially the solang valley was wonderful with snow everywhere and a bit of rain. The visit to vashist was surprisingly pleasant, it was a time of ram navmi and the whole town was celebrating. To be Frank the springs you won't be able to enjoy if you 4. The drive for Dharmshala was a relinquishing experience again. With clouds coming down it was like heavens were raining on us. The report at Dharmashala was good but a bit away from the main city. However we just had time to sleep in the hotel because of the long journey. In the journey earlier, we visited Bailjnath with me being a follower of Bhagwan Shiva and the temple being very old and beautiful. It took a bit of time. The driver was cordial enough to consider our requests. 5. Next day after the localsight seeing we went to the last of our destinations, Dalhousie. It was a memorable experience, specially the trek on the top of daikung peak there was a bit of snow left in the mountains. With this the trip ended. Points to remember 1. Check hotel location on google maps before hand. 2. Select the vehicle you want to travel in.

As per our communication I have informed you that I have paid Rs. 3000/- to cab driver and it's also informed to travel agent North India tour and travels (Mr. Neeraj) and they informed me that they will refund. Kindly make arrangements from your end also for refund of Rs. 3000/- to my account . Account details shared with North India tour and travels (Mr. Neeraj). Best memories : All sight seeing Manali, Dalhosie. Bad memories : Dropping to Delhi airport from Dalhosie cab driver has diverted route which took nearly 15hours for dropping his friend to Ambala in our private cab and if he has taken Correct as per Google Maps we would have reached Delhi in time with in 10hours and due to bad weather conditions flights were delayed so I got flight otherwise I would have missed flight.

Overall the trip was well planned by the operator and Mr. Sameer & Mr. Kushal were quite helpful and responsive to our issues. But the only major issue we felt was the transport vendor they have aligned with was cunningly smart to keep you in tension atleast in a couple of situations where you would really want to cancel your trip and head back home. Issue No 1 - Ask for any guidance from the driver and he would simply act completely ignorant about any information that you ask for. Not at all customer friendly. Example - Me - Why is shimla famous for? Driver - I don't know sir/bhaiya (Whatever suites you). Issue No 2 - Since the driver/ Cab owner has not received his money. The driver asked me to call up the tour operator and ask him to send the drivers money ASAP else he will stop the vehicle and won't go any further. I guess this is the least i can expect from someone of his caliber. What the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But i kept my cool and did what the driver and his "OWNER" asked me to do. As i was not willing to have any glitch in my trip "Remember i had already paid for my whole bloody trip in advance.Yet i had to get into a situation like this". Issue No 3 - The last day of our trip was in Dalhousie. But since the cab owner and driver not trying save out on their FUEL and money. They played some dirty game and our sightseeing was cancelled. "Mind it!!!!!! No refund was made for that" . Issue No 4 - The only priority of the cab driver and his owner was to generate some commission from local activity organizers. Example - Activity In Kufri - 4000/- approx Activity In Kullu - 5000/-approx Activity In Manali - 4000/- approx So as a suggestion. Think wisely and act accordingly. CONCLUSION : If you have never been out of your home. Then you could go to shimla /manali and get the snowly feeling all around. But if you are an avid traveler then better go for some off beat destination like Uttarakhand, Meghalaya, Sikkim etc. Neither happy nor sad about my trip. Could have been better. Looking for atleast somekind of refund for Dalhousie excursion.

Anup's 8 days trip to Himachal

Delhi to Manali: First up this was my 3rd booking on travel triangle. Previously I have travelled Sri Lanka and Bhutan with Travel Traingle and would like to give you rate 2.5 out 5 stars for the overall service that has been provided throughout my 3rd trip of Himachal. Itinerary was planned by me and I tried to execute the way it was planned. We began our trip at 8:30pm from Delhi as I had chosen an overnight journey I was expecting to be in Manali in 12 hours but we reached at 1:30pm, i.e. 5 hours extra. Next day was supposed to be half day session which we couldn’t do any. The whole purpose of overnight journey was to save a day but it just got wasted. Day 2 was as planned with Solang Valley and the activities at our own cost. Day 3, after so much discussion our driver got convinced and we stuck with the itinerary and visited Kullu market and manikaran. As per him he wanted us to spend time in Manali only and next day he wanted to take us to manikaran but we didn’t listen to him and that’s the best decision we took and visited manikaran. Day 4, we left from Manali to Dharamshala and we could only check into the hotel by 9-9:30pm. Just had dinner and back in the room. Day 5: We found the driver was clueless about the places in Himachal and we had literally open up the itinerary to look for the places mentioned and put them in google maps for directions. McLeodganj is so beautiful that we could explore so many places but our driver was so much in a hurry that he just wanted to finish up with the trip, as he was always whining about the fuel being consumed over the trip. Somehow we reached Dalhousie and when I insisted him to first do the sightseeing and then check in into the hotel, he accelerated and showed us few places in Dalhousie. Finally we told him to sit back in the hotel and he explored the Dalhousie market of our own, walking. Day 6: This day was particularly I had planned for Khajjiar and till the time we visited Panchpula he didn’t tell us that no outsider vehicles are allowed on the roads of Khajjiar. It’s a local Himachal rule which they have imposed and they have been always imposing such rules during the heavy snowfall. In Khajjiar it’s snows from November till Feb and it’s a narrow road so they allow only small vehicles. Our driver with swift Dzire upfrontly told us that we have to drop this plan of visiting Khajjiar. I had to enquire with the locals and cops that they only allow local taxis. So I booked a taxi of my own, paid Rs.1550/- and visited Khajjiar. Since we had opted a package via Travel Traingle I expected this information from you guys. But when I tried calling Ms.Dipti Adhikari our Travel triangle consultant, I didn’t receive any response from her and after couple of calls my agency answered my called and they were helpless. They said try of your own and we cannot help you anymore. The point is not about paying for the taxi and visiting Khajjiar but the point here is about the trust factor which had with TT and it’s agency. You have mentioned the clause well in advance that any such obstacles/losses during the sightseeing, agency and TT will not be held responsible but atleast this information you have provided to us. If you are not aware of the situation then atleast make sure you keep yourself updated. What happens when there’s a snowfall and landslides. When we visited Khajjiar it was a open road and no such obstacle we faced while travelling. It’s just a local imposement of Himachal govt that they were allowing the local taxis and not any outsider vehicle. Since 11am our driver was free and was at the hotel. I didn’t disturb him neither did he. Day 7: as per the itinerary we were supposed to leave From Dalhousie after the breakfast but our driver literally started calling us from 4:30am in the morning. It looks so obvious that he wanted to drop us back in Delhi and go. But since my wife had a motion sickness, she had to take medicines so I couldn’t leave from the hotel before the breakfast. I somehow checkout the hotel at 9:15am and we left from Dalhousie and to my surprise we reached Delhi in 12 hours. So to conclude, I would suggest you provide a local driver of Himachal and he should be well aware of the places. If I am taking a package from you guys then your guy must know all the places you put down in the itinerary. What is the use of booking a package and your driver cum guide not knowing the places which are mentioned. Secondly, the driver should be of the company and not any other driver who is always thinking about his car and fuel usage. This brings down the trust which I had kept on the travel triangle. Although the driver was decent and safe, but such things over the trip just spoils the positive aura that we had. Try to value the customers and not just for the sake of money making businesses.

What to say !!! The entire trip was a brilliant one with bunch of memories. Each and every step was well organised by RENU GAUTAM of Getz Destination and supported by Nisha of Travel Triangle. By God's grace no glitches were there in the entire trip. Driver Mr. SATISH was very good person with almost like a family member and flexible and including guide also. This review was not scripted but it's a frank and heartily review. Thanks again to Travel Triangle and Getz Destination. Hope we tie up again with more beautiful trips like this in future. Thanks again Renu Ji. Your help was very much appreciable.

Overall trip was good. Missed Khajjiar due to heavy snowfall. Hotels were great. Itinerary was not well planned and unco-ordinated with the cab driver. Also the cab driver was rude and arrogant. Did not guide us on Khajjiar private vehicle visit and made us take a rickshaw in Amritsar to reach our hotel by saying the cab won’t reach till the hotel. So the only bad thing in the whole trip was the driver and the itnereray for day 1. Solang Valley and Golden Temple were the best places of all. Khajjiar could have been in the list too but couldn’t make it.

Hotels location was not good at all. All except Divyanah Hotel were excellent. Two days of Manali wasn't needed. Stopping the cab for their payment issue was very bad.
