Best Time To Visit Amritsar

April to June

The summers in Amritsar make it unbearable to enjoy local sightseeing. Visitors avoid planning a trip during this season because of the high temperature leading to scorching heat.

July to October

The monsoon season in Amritsar brings relief after the scorching summer heat. Although there is a fall in temperature compared to summers, many travelers usually avoid visiting Amritsar during monsoons because of the humidity and heavy rainfall.

November to March

Winters are pleasant and suitable for local sightseeing. Book an Amritsar honeymoon tour package to experience the cool breeze with your better half. However, January is a month during which people avoid a trip to Amritsar because of the extremely chilly weather.

How To Reach Amritsar?

By Air

Sri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport in Amritsar is well-connected to other cities in India and major cities abroad.

By Rail

Depending on the days of their run, 129 trains stop by Amritsar Junction Railway Station. However, if your train doesn’t halt there, other nearby railway stations include Verka Junction Railway Station, Jandiala Railway Station, and Atari Railway Station.

By Road

If you take a bus, there are different drop-off points like the Amritsar Junction Railway Station, New Amritsar red light, and sometimes even the Amritsar Railway Road. The drop-off points entirely depend on the starting point of your journey.

Tanvipujara's 10 days trip to Himachal

It was a good experience booking with Travel Triangle. Mr. Mritunjay was very kind & helpful. Mr. Surender from North India tours & travels made the booking comfortable & easy. Driver Dharampalji gave genuine local advices & proved to be a good guide. Had a bit dissatisfaction with last moment change in hotels at Shimla & Dalhousie. Hoping for proper compensation for the same. The vouchers were also delivered late giving us less time to check & react. Apple Paradise @ Manali, Spring Valley @ Dharamshala, Sawera Grand @ Amritsar had awesome food & services- Credit goes to Surender. Gulmarg Regency @ Shimla & Sagrika Resort @ Dalhousie neither had scenic views nor good food- debit goes to Surender. Over all a good experience and would recommend and have future trips as well. River-rafting @ Manali & Paragliding @ Khajjiar are must have experiences.

Payalparikh's 10 days trip to Himachal

Had wonderful time during the recent trip to Shimla, Manali, Dharmshala,Dalhousie and Amritsar. We had a good time and enjoyed the snowfall in shimla and manali. Otherwise our trip was very good and well coordinated. Harjeet ji had done good job in organising and coordinating the entire trip. Had very good time everywhere. Enjoyed snowfall and freezing temperatures. Things were well coordinated but had to give misses to some places as car was unable to go at some places due to snowfall. Only souring point was when a shopkeeper fooled us in manali where he sold us a package for a trip to solang for Rs 6500 including car and 2 rides (jet ski and tube) which we discovered that he never took us to the peak point and the rides which he sold was 2000 was actually available for some 500 bucks. I feel the cab driver could have saved us that, as he has been regular in the region and was with us throughout 10 days. We overpaid close to 3k to 3.5k. Would advise to do things on the spot.

Jayesh's 10 days trip to Himachal

Hotel Kamna at Shimla was very good with very good food and service. Hotel snow country at Manali was good with average room, food & service. Hotel Meghavan at Dharmshala was old but good service & food. Hotel Mongas at Dalhousie was good with very good quality of food & service. sawera grand at amritsar was with very good rooms but average services. Driver was blunt in speech and over-smart. Time & money waste at Kufri. Avoid it. Dharmshala worth two night stay. Get prior permission to visit Wagha border for comfortable watch.

Alimpan's 4 days trip to Himachal

Thanks to Neha ji for arranging my trip to Amritsar and Dalhousie. Hotel in Amritsar was upgraded to 3-star and cab was upgraded from Swift Desire to Innova which made our trip comfortable. Driver (Tajinder ji) was extremely polite and drove responsibly. Although our hotel stay at Dalhousie (Hotel Amar) was comfortable but there were some negative points: 1. Towels weren't provided when we checked in, we had to tell them 2. Night bulbs missing in one of the rooms, although provided later on telling them 3. No complimentary mineral water bottles 4. Water seepage in bathrooms had few issues Overall experience was good. Would recommend my friends to travel through this agency.
