Shweta's 4 days trip to Himachal

We had a trip from Bathinda-> Amritsar-> Dalhousie-> Dharamshala->Bathinda with Travelpedia First thing i have to say about Travelpedia is the itinerary was very well planned we visited each and every place and still had time to pamper ourselves in hotel! Hotels were good except for the Amrits
ar one but I couldn’t hold grudge about it as all other hotels were too good location wise service wise everything was good. Vikas sent us the best driver (Aman Rana) for our trip he was friendly , responsible and very nice person. I planned this trip with my mother she was very happy with it. Thankyou Vikas Thankyou Travelpedia Keep up the good work

Riddhish's 7 days trip to Himachal

All together it was a good experience right from the pickup at the Chandigarh airport to exploring Himachal to our drop to Amritsar on the last day of the trip. We travelled in the month of March (6th to 15th). The driver was efficient and reliable. All the four hotels were good except we had a bitt
er experience in Golden Apple in Manali. We were supposed to celebrate our anniversary on 8th March in Manali and there were absolutely no arrangements made even though we were told that this would be arranged beforehand, there was a miscommunication between the company and the hotel management. The service was very slow in Golden apple and specially the front desk manager was rude and was absolutely not interested to listen to our concerns. They had a veg buffet and it was repetitive and options were very limited, we also found other guests complaining about the menu and quality of food during breakfast and dinner. We had our anniversary dinner on 9th instead of 8th due to utter mismanagement. Even though there were several calls made by Travel triangle to the hotel manager he was still very adamant to make the required arrangements for our pre-planned anniversary dinner. So finally the food was served in the room after multiple requests, it was a regular veg dinner (nothing special) and a chicken curry (all packed food) and two broken candles and a match box. Is this what we call an anniversary dinner? It was totally ruined and and absolutely disappointing, had a lot of expectations. The cake was horrible and so was decoration in the room. The food quality was again pathetic. The hotel staff in Manali always had this attitude towards us as if we were staying there for free. The food in Dharamsala hotel was definitely not good, but the hotel service and room was pretty good. We had a very good experience in Shimla and Dalhousie. Overall it was a fun holiday.

Rishit

Rishit's 9 days trip to Himachal

I had planned himanchal trip from 1Mar-9Mar 2020 with family. We had some really good time till we departed from Shimla on 3 March and headed towards Manali (Hotel Mountain Green Villa) and rest is history. I had opted the trip from the travel agency "Backpackers Tours and Travel" based out of Delhi
. Before booking them they had this lady named Ekta Verma who was coordinating with me for this trip, shares me her fake testimony of appreciation from her previous clients and will try to convince you by all sort of way like saying "Sir, ek baar trust karke toh Delhi, ek baar service ka mauka toh do", guys never trust these "Backpackers Tours and Travel" agents ever. It's always a trap. All they care is just your MONEY and not SERVICE. Because that entire agency and their agents are full of lies. Though I made the entire trip payment before the start of my trip, these fraud Bagpackers agents hadn't paid the money of either of the hotel and in each hotel while checkout we all had to wait for half an hour so that the hotel manager will check and confirm that the full payment has been received (this point to be noted). Now saying that, I was accompanied by my 2 year old daughter and my 65 year old father and mother for this trip along with my wife. So, we came to know that at Dalhousie (being our last destination for the trip) had a snowfall and Khajiar is closed, which is the only point to visit Khajiar and it's quite chilling there wherein my aged mother father and my 2 year old daughter will not find that much chilling climate suitable so I requested the Bagpackers team (Ekta Verma) to change my destination from Dalhousie to Amritsar but she bluntly said no with an excuse that the payment has been made to the hotelier (which they haven't made to either of the hotel) and then I escalated the matter to Bagpackers other agent named Riya and TravelTriangle agents Anvesha and Amit Bhatti. So finally we reached Dalhousie and climate was not in a favoring condition so we cut short our trip for Dalhousie from 2 to 1 night stay and went to Chandigarh for 1 night stay and mind-blowing accommodation Bagpackers gave us near Chandigarh Railway Station , a cheap 2 star hotel whose room doesn't have lock but a latch, whose service is way pathetic then what you expect (and mind you I am with my family trip as I said before). Bagpackers hadn't paid Dalhousie payment also when I checked with the hotel receiptionist while checking out and these Bagpackers who just care about money and not service didn't refund me the amount for the other night of Dalhousie wherein I have to shelve entire money out of my own pocket for Chandigarh hotel. Also, to add cherry on the cake, these Bagpackers didn't laid the car company also their money, driver got the call from his company to drop the passenger wherever they are and don't pick them until payment is received and mind you, we are on a FAMILY trip, so I called up Riya, Bagpackers agent so then things got sorted otherwise just imagine where we would had been out of nowhere. Also, cab driver also charged me RS.1500 extra to take us to Khajiar from Chamba route which was open. So over all I had paid RS. 5000 (3500 extra for the Chandigarh hotel and 1500 extra for Khajiar, though Khajiar was included in my iternary) So, listening to the entire story of how Bagpackers has treated us and provided us the service for the entire trip with all LIES. I want TravelTriangle to take some strict action against this fake travel company with the compensation to me and my family sufferings. Looking forward for your kind cooperation and let me know what action has been taken against the Bagpackers and how much compensation will I be getting. Regards, Rishit H Mehta

Mehul Marathe

Mehul's 7 days trip to Himachal

Overall trip was good. Missed Khajjiar due to heavy snowfall. Hotels were great. Itinerary was not well planned and unco-ordinated with the cab driver. Also the cab driver was rude and arrogant. Did not guide us on Khajjiar private vehicle visit and made us take a rickshaw in Amritsar to reach our h
otel by saying the cab won’t reach till the hotel. So the only bad thing in the whole trip was the driver and the itnereray for day 1. Solang Valley and Golden Temple were the best places of all. Khajjiar could have been in the list too but couldn’t make it.

Vikas's 4 days trip to Himachal

We opted Sky High Manali Holidays for our customize tour Chandigarh-Shimla-Amritsar in February. It was a best cooperation we received from Mrs. Sonali. She was available to assist & guide whenever we required round a clock. There are couple of challenges we faced during site seeing even after dri
ver belong to local guy and poor hospitality at Royal Whistling Pine hotel at Mashoobra. Need improvisation here whenever stay is concerned and right driver allotment to avoid miscommunication. Travel agent should have proper communication & coordination with Hotel and transport dept to smoother/hassel free trip. Itinerary must be shared again to avoid last moment changes. Could have much better than expected but Mrs. Sonali tried to close gaps & fulfilled promises made as per itinerary. We wish to visit again & recommend to others if above points are really consider. Keep growing Sky High Manali...!!! Stay at Kufri Pacific resort at Kufri was pleasure. Adventure part was horse riding to Apple garden. Would recommend to stay and visit above places.
