1. The Royal Albatross
The ship from The Dark Knight, this ‘pirate ship’ is a popular Sentosa attraction. The 149-seater chartered yacht provides short cruises to the tourists through tickets on its website.
2. Tiger Sky Tower
The 110 m observation tower is a free-standing structure open since 2004. One can witness the incredible views of the nearby islands and Singapore from the tower. Parts of Malaysia and Indonesia are also visible on clear days. This is one of the most popular Sentosa places to visit.
3. Butterfly Park
The Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom is a must-visit Sentosa attraction and a wonderful and learning experience for the tourists. It is a landscape garden with more than 15,000 butterflies of over 50 species. The insect kingdom is home to more than 3000 rare species from around the world and is home to a 160 mm Dynastes Hercules beetle.
4. Sentosa Merlion
Sentosa Merlion reflects the history and culture of Singapore and is a 37-meter-tall statue and houses two viewing galleries. Being one of the major Sentosa Island attractions, the Sentosa Express passes closely by the statue. There is also a souvenir shop for the tourists.
5. Wings of Time
The Wings of Time is a spectacular showcase of visual elements birthed from pyrotechnics display, water fountains, water screens and laser projectors, and others. The show has a gripping narrative accompanied by a visual masterpiece that is perfect to sign one’s day off with.
6. Fort Siloso
Originally built by the British to defend the Keppel Harbour, Fort Siloso is the only surviving gun battery from the Second World War with its guns and the fortress itself preserved in excellent condition. The fort now serves as a World War 2 museum and is a part of every tourist’s Sentosa sightseeing list.
7. Mega Adventure Park
Full of adrenaline pumping sports, the Mega Adventure Park is sure to get blood flowing. The most extreme zipline in Asia is just one of the many Sentosa attractions here. A free fall simulator, a 16-meter-high rock-climbing wall and an aerial rope course are all staple rides for the adrenaline junkies.
8. Madame Tussauds
A Madame Tussauds wax museum is one of the special Sentosa points of interest for the tourists as it exhibits the culture and history of Singapore. The museum has a lot more to offer than just wax statutes and here tourists can easily find themselves spending the whole day.
