South-east Asian countries are especially well connected with Delhi, thanks to the ever-blossoming tourism industry. There are frequent flights catering to the mass tourists visiting Delhi to Pattaya every year.

Here’s how to reach Pattaya from Delhi by various means.

By Air: There are not many Delhi to Pattaya direct flights. Most people with Pattaya as the final destination fly from Delhi to Bangkok first. From there, they either make a break for a trip to Bangkok, or they continue with the same one-stop flight. Flights are frequent from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang International airport to nearest airport in Pattaya, U-Tapao Airport. Delhi to Pattaya distance by flight is a little more than 3000 km but it takes around 11-12 hours at least, because the flights mostly are indirect, making stops at other Thailand airports like Bangkok, Phuket City or Koh Samui.

By Road: Going the entire journey from Delhi to Pattaya by road is not the most conventional way of travelling, neither the most convenient one. Delhi to Pattaya distance by land is close to 4450 km and takes nearly 90 hours via the India-Thailand-Myanmar Friendship Road without any glitch. However, covering the distance between Bangkok to Pattaya by road is a common thing. There are several bus services from the Suvarnabhumi airport itself, and from other terminals like Ekkamai in eastern Bangkok, Mo Chit in the north and Sai Tai Mai in the south. These buses are frequent and cost from 100-250, depending on the bus type. Getting cabs is also easy since most of them are home-bound ones after a day’s work in Bangkok.

By Rail: There exists no rail connection between Delhi and Pattaya. But trains are available daily from Hua Lamphong station at 7 am to Pattaya station or Pattaya Tai station for Jomtien.
