Shrines of popular gods and goddess are placed inside the temple and the ceilings are also painted with stories of the ranga mandapa depicting the ten incarnations of Vishnu,Girija Kalyana, Arjuna piercing the matsyayantra etc. A narrow water channel built to supply water to the temple kitchen is a testimony for the excellent architectural knowledge of ancient India.
