Kamireddy's 8 days trip to Rajasthan

Very much happy with Rajasthan trip, Feb21-28, 2020. Two families went together. We were provided with AC Innova car right from the airport to back airport. Local tour operator was Tourepedia Holidays Pvt Ltd. Rajat Sarma from Tourepedia and Pradeep were very cardial and cooperative. Even they could change the vehicle inbetween due to some inconvenience. Driver Surendra Singh is also too good and prompt in providing the services. Travel Triangle has coordinated very well to fix the tour with Tourepedia travel. Hem Chandra and Ms Sudesh from Travel Triangle did thier job well while fixing itinerary and program. I have gone to Srilanka trip in Dec 2019 recently which was also nicely arranged by Travel Triangle. The hotels booked were 4 star +. In jaipur, we stayed in Hotel Fern Residency, Jodhpur - hotel Fern Residency, in Mount Abu stayed in Sterling Mount Abu and in Udaipur - Mumbai house one day, Mewargarh Palace, an other day, Both hotels in Udaipur is not upto the mark of 4 stars. Bishnoi village camp & Resort, Osian stay is also not upto the Mark. Driver always reached our hotel on time for picking us in the morning. We visited all important visiting places like Forts, Palaces, Lakes and Temples in Jaipur, Azmer, Pushkar, Jodhpur, Mount Abu and Udaipur in the same sequences. We did shopping in jaipur and Udaipur. We had Rajasthani dishes at most of the places, I liked Laal Maas Rajasthani chicken curry. We all four enjoyed every thing in Chowki dhani, a well known Tourist attraction in Jaipur for its rich, Rajasthani heritage and cultural manifesto, like puppet show, dances, musics, magics, camel & elephant riding, folk dances etc. Rajasthani local food, culture and customs in one place is a high light of it. Every one must visit it. All varieties of Rajasthani foods were tasted in village style. Overall, it was a different experience compared to other tours. Thanks to Travel Triangle, Tourepedia and their staff.

Murli's 14 days trip to USA

Myself and my wife booked our US trip for 2 weeks through TMS Holidays overseen by Travel Triangle for travel in the first week of Feb 2020. Straight Away I would give them a thumbs Up for a thoroughly enjoyable and fully satisfied trip which included several states including our start from St Francisco , Los Angeles , Las Vegas , New York , Washington and Miami. The chief person in this entire trip RASHID is a perfect professional and a lovely person. I was circumspect about trusting such a big tour and the money being invested and god forbid get a bad deal in hotels or so but I must say that every service and co-ordination be it hotel or transfers or sight seeings etc were all precise and absolutely as agreed and understood between us. He is a very knowledgeable person and one who keeps his word and continuously follows up before the tour for any required changes and feeding of documents / tickets / vouchers etc as also whilst on tour as to our timing , any issues or dissatisfaction or any matter if at all. This is professionalism as usually tour operators take the money and look for their next potential customer without ensuring whether the clients are getting it all what they have been committed too. I have myself t ravelled a lot in the past 3 decades so I know where the tour operators can let you down and swallow a good chunk for their profits but with Rashid and TMS Holidays I am completely satisfied and the 9 out of 10 is because there is always room for improvement and few small things can be ironed out but they are not at any negative for me. I will surely consider TMS Holidays and Rashid for my future tours whenever and It is my honest statement that TMS Holdays with Rashid in it is GENUINE AND RELIABLE TOUR OPERATOR and wish he keeps and maintains the same good attitude and commitment. This is all possible when customers/ clients also make their requirement clear and confirm to the tour programme without any misunderstanding like I felt I had this understanding with them. I would also commend Babloo of the transfer section from Avis India who was excellent his co-ordination and regular follow ups and timely intimation of pick ups and drop offs even though it was very odd timing with the time difference in India and US., Good Luck and wish you the very best of success and Life always. Shatabdi's 11 days trip to Egypt

We went to Egypt and Jordan and we had an overall ok experience and honestly the experience would have been more or less same if we would have planned the holiday ourselves instead of hiring a travel agent. Although I must mention that the Jordan leg was way better then Egypt , long story short the agents did't add much value and I would rather recommend to plan the trip yourself. Below is the detailed feedback What worked well a. Guides in Alexendria , Cairo , Abu Simbel and Luxor - Guides in all these 4 locations were great. They took us around all the spots and explained us the history and significance of those spots very well. b. Awesome Jordanian experience thanks to Travanco and Mr Wahid (our driver cum guide) - The Jordanian experience was amazing and everything was well planned. Starting from the visa assistance in Amman airport to hotels and site seeing in Petra and Wadi rum. A special call out to Mr Wahid who was amazing. c. Assistance provided by Mr Sumit and Mr Karan with Jordanian visa - Apprently the Jordanian visa rules had changed for Indians by the time we travelled and we were not allow to board our flight from Mumbai because of that. And while it was a shocker for us to know that the travel agent did't know about the change (see below for details) , it was good to have Mr Sumit and Mr Karan providing adequate support in ensuring we are able to travel to the country as a part of our plan. In other words they were able to make arrangements in short timeframe which ensured that we were able to get into Jordan , although that cost us an additional 120 USD overall. d. Hotels - Overall the hotels in Egypt and Jordan were great. What did't go well a. Visa assistance (before travel) with Jordanian visa - Although Mr Sumit and Mr Karan were able to make arrangements to allow us enter Jordan , it was surprise to see that they were not aware of the changes to the Jordanian visa policy. When we hire travel agents to help us with holidays , we expect them to be up to date with the visa policy changes etc for the destination country. Eventually because of this we had to have an additional 120 USD added to the cost and not to mention go through some tense moments. I would like to state that we did ask for the Jordanian visa assistance in last week of December itself , after we got our Egyptian visa well before our travel dates to Mr Yatharth as well as Mr Sumit , and we were told that its visa on arrival so we should not worry. But Jordan had changed their visa policy early december and they were not aware of it. Eventually they mentioned that its airline's responsibility to inform passengers but I dont think I can buy that. Anyways all is well that ends well as we were able to make it to Jordan eventually - thanks to the last minute effort from Mr Sumit and Karan. Having said that they can act more professional for future and keep themselfs updated with the visa policy changes. b. Lack of clarity on cash requirements - We had asked time and again to Mr Yatharth how much of cash shall we carry and we were told that we just have to carry cash worh 20,000 INR. But well guess even they are not aware of the fact that credit cards are not widely accepted in Egypt , or they just casually replied - neverthless it was quite unprofessional as we had to make multiple ATM withrawals for cash in Egypt. Also suddenly in the tour Mr Ali (Egyptian counterpart of flying feet) asked for an additional 80 USD as hotel gurrentee for Aswan and Luxor hotel - something which we were not informed earlier. c. Aswan travel arrangements and guide - We took a 17 hour long train journey from cairo to Aswan and upon reaching Aswan at 1 , we wanted to go to hotel to freshen up before we start the tour. However I guess the hotel was not booked or our guide told that the checkin is not until 2. So we were to drag ourselfs through the Philae temple tour which we did't enjoy much as we were touring without any shower or bio break. Add to that Mr Nasser (our guide) was not at all good. He was constantly making comments like "maharani" to my wife despite us requesting him not to. For me he seeom to be a local goon rather then a guide. Eventually we checked into hotel at 4 and the hotel was nice , but then while we covered our itinary for Aswan , it was not enjoyble. d. Aswan to Luxor transfer - We took the Abu Simbel tour and upon our return we had to followup for the driver and the Luxor hotel where we to check in. Also in hotel we had no assistance and the staff were not expecting us. Again we had to follup with Mr Ali to have that issue resolved. Overall we could sense that the Aswan and Luxor leg was not planned at all and got planned at the last minute which was quite unprofessional e. Tips - Mr Ali on first day took tip money for drivers and ball boys however again we had to tip the drivers seperately. As a matter of fact they demanded money (especially Mr Hani who took us from Aswan to Luxor). f. Refund of cash - Mr Ali had taken an additional 90 USD (for jordanian visa and any other ad hoc tours) and then later 80 USD for hotel gurrentee. We took inner pyramid tour so considering all we were supposed to get 126 USD cash back from Mr Ali , which he promised to return on last day at airport. But guess what , on last day when we called him , he mentioned that he does't have people and the refund will take time. We had to wait until last minute to get our money back. That too we got only 100 USD and it took some additional followups from Mr Karan to get the remaining 26 USD back. It left a very bad taste for us and I dont think I would ever like to deal with Mr Ali in future.

Prayag's 10 days trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - Darjeeling

Recently (Dec'19) we visited Sikkim for our honeymoon through Tourepedia tour services via Travel Triangle. Before starting with the trip details, I would like to thank Mr. Rajat,m Sharma, Mr. Mehul and the entire team of Tourepedia who made the entire trip an amazing start to our lifetime journey. Now Starting with the tour, our journey was divided into four places spread across West Bengal (Darjeeling) and Sikkim ( Pelling, Lachung and Gangtok) Bagdogra - Darjeeling :: We took a flight from Mumbai to Bagdogra where our cab was already waiting for us to our mesmerizing journey of our first trip to North East. It was a 2 and half hour journey from Bagdogra to Darjeeling. Upon our arrival at Darjeeling, the hotel we were accomodated was Dekeling Resort Darjeeling. The Hotel staff ensured that all the basic amenities were kept ready before we reach the hotel. We received a very warm welcome by the hotel staff, our stay at this hotel was really amazing. we did not have anything for the rest of the day. So we relaxed at the hotel for the day. Please click the below link to see a detailed review Check out this review of Udaan Hotels | Dekeling Resort on Google Maps https://goo.gl/maps/oZtn43ahXcwjzCUt6 On day two of our stay at Darjeeling, we visited Tiger Hill and saw the Sun Rise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. We also visited Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop, a quirky Toy Train railway track that spirals around the Gorkha War Memorial. While returning to the Hotel, we also visited Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the largest high altitude zoo in India -- PNZ Zoological Park. If you do visit this place, please do not forget to do Indoor rock climbing (if you like it) the main attraction of this zoo is the Red Panda. We would specially like to thank few of the Hotel staff who made our stay amazing, but not limited to only these employees. Housekeeping :: Dipen F&B :: Alex (Chef) , Sushmika and Sushant. Reception :: Aditi and Sandeep. Darjeeling - Pelling :: Post our check out at Hotel, we started our journey towards Pelling. It was a 3 hour journey. We were provided accommodation at Magpie Chestnut Retreat. Please click below link to see my detailed review Check out this review of Magpie The Chestnut Retreat on Google Maps https://goo.gl/maps/W8EvWyeHSwkGhfZGA It was already dark by the time we reached the Hotel ( it gets dark by around 5 PM in North East region, so please plan your journey accordingly) .The stay was okay, as there were minor Hiccups. Though the staff was helpful, the services and facilities provided were not upto the mark. There were issues with the food, the Heater in the room which added to our thoughts to change our stay. These issues were not completely resolved, but definitely were minimized to an extent. All the credit goes to Mr. Mehul here. Thank you Our 4th day started with the divine sunrise as the Snow clad Mountain peaks turned orange-yellow when sun rays fall onto these, the view which was available straight from our Hotel Room. We visited the Kanchenjunga waterfall, the Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse ruins. There was even a planned visited to Helipad, the rock garden and the khecheopalri lake. However, thanks to the quick observation of our driver, Pema, who by the time knew our taste buds. He understood that we might not be interested in these things and instead made us visit Sky Walk Pelling Sikkim which is the only Glass Sky Walk in India as of Dec, 2019 ( to the best of my knowledge). The view from this sky walk is amazing. You may also like to visit the Buddha temple and statue which also has a spectacular view from the top. Pelling - Gangtok :: Post check out from the hotel, we headed towards Gangtok through Ravangla, which was the only sightseeing on our enroute to Gangtok. However, again, as I earlier mentioned, thanks to Pema our driver, he made us visit Chardham (wherein you will be able to do a mini yatra to Chardham and also be able to have the darhsan of 12 Jyotirlinga's). Ofcourse, we'd paid him an extra 2.5K for this journey. But it was worth a trip. Our overnight stay was at The Lindsay Cheu Den Kingston as we'd to leave for Lachung the next day. Gangtok - Lachung :: After breakfast, we proceeded to Lachung. The route meanders through small villages with valleys up to forest grove of Kabi Langchuk. Also we visited seven sister waterfall , Naga waterfall. We reached the Hotel by afternoon. We were welcomed with hot cup of tea. The manager Mr. Santu is very courteous and makes sure that we don't find any issues during our stay and also that all the requests are taken care of. This hotel, I must say was best of our stay in our entire journey in Sikkim. It's not just because of the service and facilities provided. But because of the home made food that was prepared by the in-house catering staff. Mr. Manteswar , the chef, and his team, made every effort in letting us feel that we're having food at our home, rather than having it at the hotel. Kudos to the team for the effort. For my detailed review, please click the below link. We were supposed to visit Yumthang Valley the next day. However, due to the weather we were restricted to Snow point, which is also a good place to step by. Please click the below link to see my detailed review Check out this review of Delight lachung heritage Hotel on Google Maps https://goo.gl/maps/rkPxknSHFcDRq7fR6 We headed back to the Hotel, where we had our lunch post which we checked out to reach back to Gangtok. Gangtok :: We reached Gangtok by evening and were now waiting eagerly for our visit to Nathula Pass in hope that our Permits were issued and this time weather won't betray us, like it did in Yumthang. The next day, we woke up to the refreshing smell of hills and had a filling breakfast before proceeding for the day’s sightseeing tour as we were really happy to know that our permits were ready and that there was no problem with respect to the visit for Nathula. We Set off on our excursion to Tsomgo Lake near Gangtok. It known for changing colours, the Tsomgo Lake is among the most visited tourist attraction in Gangtok. Further, visited the famous Baba Mandir built in fond memory of Late Major Baba Harbhajan Singh. The show stopper for the day was Nathula. Nathula is a mountain pass in the Himalayas in East Sikkim district. It connects the Indian state of Sikkim with China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The pass, at 14,140 ft above mean sea level, forms a part of an offshoot of the ancient Silk Road. Nathu means "listening ears" and La means "pass" in Tibetan. On the Indian side, the pass is 54 km east of Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Only citizens of India can visit the pass, and then only after obtaining a permit in Gangtok. We headed back to our hotel to end this tiring day. The next day was a leisure day for us as we'd kept this day as a buffer in case of any miss happening. Fortunately, nothing sort of that happened and we spent our day roaming at the MG street, buying souvenirs for our loved one's etc. The next day was our last day in Sikkim as we'd our returning flight to Mumbai. Barring few minor Hiccups 1) In Darjeeling, as the car which was supposed to take us to Pelling had a breakdown and we had to stay back at the hotel for couple of hours. 2) In Pelling during our stay at the Hotel. Things like this do happen, when you're on a long trip. However, Thank you Travel Triangle (Ms. Shivani Sharma) , Thank you Tourepedia (Mr. Rajat Sharma and Mr. Mehul) and the entire team who worked hard to make sure that this becomes our memorable journey all together. To see my other reviews, please check the link below where, you can find reviews of all the places I've been through. See what I've posted to Google Maps Level 7 Local Guide https://maps.app.goo.gl/6nmGc8ZkEwtUGac58 Nathula Pass and Snow Point at Lachung

Vivek's 5 days trip to Kashmir

My review is segregated in three parts: 1) about our travel agent 2) about our driver 3) about our trip Let me start my review by talking about Peacock holidays, our travel agent. We were introduced to them by Travel triangle and we planned our trip from Mumbai between 11th Jan and 16th Jan. We were four of us this was our first trip to Kashmir and our experience with Peacock was one of the best that we have had so far. We told them about our budget, and they planned it well and did not give us a chance to be disappointed. They made our experience and journey memorable and that’s what any traveller would like to take away at the end of the trip. Peacock Holidays are managed by Mr. Rahil and Mrs. Saika, both are very efficient in their planning and co-ordination. Special thanks to Mrs. Saika for following up with us daily and checking our whereabouts. She also met us personally on our first day and that was indeed a great gesture from her end. We were supposed to head back home on the 16th, but our flights had to be rescheduled due to heavy snow, which extended our stay by another three days. Mrs. Saika helped us in arranging our stay for the extended period and followed up with us even after the trip was officially ended. I would recommend everyone travelling to Kashmir to plan their trip through Peacock Holidays. About our driver - We were allotted a driver named Aakash, who is a part of Peacock Holidays. He was very friendly and co-operative. He was not only best at his driving, but also was great in building a rapport with us. Never did we feel like being with a stranger, he was very friendly and ensured that we had a great time. He has great driving skills and trust me, driving on roads with snow all over is not an easy task. There is a high chance that the vehicle can lose its balance, but Aakash was perfect in his driving skills and took good care of us. When our flights got cancelled on 16th Jan, the airlines were giving us new tickets (without any additional cost) on the 27th of Jan. Since a lot of flights were cancelled due to snow, none of the airlines had tickets to any destination for next 7 days at least. Aakash helped us in arranging new tickets through an agent for 19th Jan at an affordable price. It is very difficult to get tickets at affordable prices just three days before the journey, kudos to Aakash for helping us on this. He went out of the box to help us and that’s what made him the best. Do ask for Aakash as the driver when you plan your trip through Peacock Holidays. About our trip – on our first day(11th Jan), after we landed at Sri Nagar Airport, we directly went to a houseboat at Nigel Lake. Once we reached Nigel, a Shikara(boat) was ready to pick us up and drop us at the houseboat. The houseboat was owned by Peacock holidays and was very nicely maintained. The houseboat was as big as 1200 Sq Ft 2BHK apartment. The view outside the boat was beautiful and it was totally worth staying there. I would recommend choosing a houseboat at Nigel lake only, as Dal lake is very noisy as it a commercial place too. Also, Nigel lake has more quality houseboats than Dal lake. On the second day, post our breakfast, we left for Pahalgam. The view while travelling to Pahalgam was breath-taking. Trust me, your money will be totally worth for this alone. We stayed in a hotel named “Hotel Moonview”. Most of the hotels in Pahalagm were closed due to extreme climate and Snowfall. The temperature ranged anywhere between (-)6 to (-) 12 during our stay. Our hotel was the only one functioning and the hotel was nice and the view outside the hotel was simply amazing. We experienced heavy snowfall on this day, because of which we had to stay back in Pahalgam for another day. A Srinagar one our fourth day. We were placed in a hotel named “ Hotel Royal Milad”. On this day, we cover Dal Lake and Mogul Gardens. I would advise people to take a Shikara ride at Dal lake too. It’s a very big lake and our entire ride went upto 90 mins. On the fifth day, we went to Gulmarg and it was simply beautiful. Gulmarg had most of the activities that can be done on snow and we spent our entire day there. During winters, the vehicle goes only till a certain point, post which you have a hire a chained vehicle which can climb up the hill which is covered with snow. The normal vehicles cannot run on those roads and can be prone to accidents. Aakash bhai helped us in getting a chained vehicle and arranged a guide to help us cover all the points. Its advisable that you hire a guide so that you can cover all the important points. Our guide was also named Tanveer and he helped us in negotiating with the locals there for our rides. I can tell you that he helped us in getting a good deal for all our activities out there, as most of my friends ended up paying double the rate for the activities in Gulmarg. On the sixth day (16th Jan), while we were heading to the airport, we were informed by the airlines that our flight is cancelled due to heavy snow and they were giving us a rescheduled ticket for the 27th of Jan, which was too late. As mentioned above, Aakash bhai helped us getting a ticket in a reasonable price for the 19th.and Mrs. Saika helped us in getting a accommodation done at Royal Milad again for the extended days. We really appreciated the extended support provided by Aakash and Mrs. Saika even after our trip ended. Overall, we were happy with the arrangements done by Peacock and returned home with great memories. I will recommend everyone to chose Peacock Holidays while planning your trip to Kashmir.
