Ba Be National Park is rich in flora and fauna. The park is usually made of Limestone and evergreen forests. Abundantly blessed with various animals, one can find 106 species of fish in the lake, 233 bird species, 43 species of reptiles, more than 300 species of Butterflies, 27 species of bat and 65 kinds of mammals.

No, there is no ATM inside the park. However, if you do wish to get some cash, you can find an ATM in the Cho Ra which is about 17 km away from the park. It is advised to bring cash from Hanoi.
Is it ok to swim in the lake?
The waters here are very clear, and it is safe to take a dip or two. You can even bring your own beer to the park and enjoy it when you dip in. However, you cannot purchase drinks inside the park. To gain the best experience, Widow Lake is the best place to dip in; you can even find a place to jump in.
