About Hiking in Ba Vi National Park in Hanoi
Centred on a three-pronged mountain summits, Ba Vi National Park in Hanoi is one of Vietnam’s most beautiful and picturesque landscapes. People often visit this heavily forested area to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life and enjoy some silence and solitude. And Ba Vi National Park Hanoi offers them that and more. The cool mountain breeze, tropical rainforest environment and a veil of misty cloud make this place a perfect retreat of sorts.
The three mountain summits are Dinh Vua (1296 m), Tan Vien (1226 m) and Ngoc Hoa (1331 m), and together they form a fork-like crest at the top. It is not much visible from down below due to the fog but can be climbed for an exhilarating hiking experience. The most loved hiking route in Ba Vi National Park is the climb up the Tan Vien summit. It is preferred among the adventurists and pilgrims alike because of the 11th-century temple called Den Thuong, built by the Hung Kings and dedicated to the King of Heaven or the Mountain God. The views of the tropical vistas all around and Ba Vi National Park waterfall, veiled with a thin cloud is quite mesmerising.
There are other Ba Vi National Park hiking, walking and trekking trails here as well. The bird garden, the orchid garden and other places of medicinal plant cultivations can be explored on foot. However, the 30-minute climb up to the temple is the most exciting one. The walk itself is very rewarding. As an added bonus, one can get spectacular panoramic views of the Red River and its valley. If you visit during the spring season when the sky is absolutely clear, you can get a sparkling glimpse of entire Hanoi in the distance.
As a finishing touch after the Ba Vi National Park day trip, there is a Tan Da Spa Resort at the foot of the mountain that offers exotic mud baths, hot springs, steam baths, natural Jacuzzis and herbal baths for families and couples.

Tapas's 7 days trip to HanoiIt was a great experience all over of my parents. They are pleased. As per expectation. From the beginning till end coordination from Sruthi(Travel Triangle) and specially Eric's (AsiaAuthentic, Vietnam) was really good and up to the mark. Except arrival at Hanoi, had to wait more than 30 mins for the driver and was searching here and there, make my parents scared in other country after landing. Try to give importancy for Indian food. Keep up with good work and happy.Cheers Boat Cruise at Halong bay

Gopalakrishnan Coimbatore Ramachandran
Gopalakrishnan's 8 days trip to HanoiThe trip was organised as planned. Lucy of S Viet was quick to respond to any queries and to sort out any issues we faced while on tour. A bit more information sharing upfront would be more useful, instead of us asking the tour timings everyday. The Pacific Angkor hotel at Siam Reap was quite nice, but it is not suitable for vegetarians. There was nothing on the breakfast for vegetarians except fruits and bread, as even the Soup and Porridge was non-veg. Also the hotel is near Airport and far away from city, that we had to pay for TukTuk more than the cost of dinner everyday that we stayed there, as the hotel restaurant options were very limited.
Vijay's 6 days trip to HanoiExcellent services and help from both your India team and counterpart team at Vietnam. Thank you for making my holiday trip successful. Best regards, Vijay C: 9574749222

Tour guide in Hanoi has to improve his English language skill. It was very difficult his words. Rest tour guides had good language skills. Would like to travel again with S Viet.
Alpana's 9 days trip to HanoiThe travel agents were extremely helpful. Although we travelled during Tet, they ensured that we received the best services. Will definitely recommend a trip to Vietnam to everyone!
Siddharth Shyamkant Vanmali
Siddharth's 8 days trip to HanoiWe had an awesome & lovely time in Vietnam and Sophie from Bamboo Hat/ Travel triangle did a great job of locating/ hosting us at prime locations which helped us explore right tourist areas. Egg coffee and water puppet show was interesting and helped us get a dive into the Vietnamese culture. Phu Quoc's La mer was a beautiful resort which was a pleasure to our eyes. The people were quite sweet in general. We have pleasant memories to take back home.
