Adventure Activities Hanoi
Do not fall into the trap of common conceptions. As abundant as historical and cultural sites are in Hanoi, that is not all there is to the city. If tourists are travelling to Hanoi, there is a lot more they can do than just visit historically and culturally relevant sites. Let us take a look at the best and most fun things to do in Hanoi:
Bike around the Ngoc Son
Hanoi is a very biking-friendly city. In fact, biking is probably the most preferred option by tourists to stroll around and explore the city. A bike tour around the city will help one access some of its best and most underrated interior spots. However, biking is especially fun to do around the Ngoc Son Temple, which is located near the Hoàn Kiem Lake. The view from there is mesmerising, and tourists consider watching the sunrise or sunset from there to be one of the best activities to do in Hanoi.
Watch water puppet theatre
Watching a water puppet theatre performance is one of the top things to do as part of Hanoi nightlife. It is a unique part of Vietnamese drama culture. Performances are usually conducted at least 5 times a day. Puppets can be seen dancing over a liquid stage. They are controlled by puppet masters who work their magic behind the scenes. Most of them tell the story of a giant tortoise in the Hoàn Kiem Lake.
Explore the Hanoi old quarter
The Old Quarter of Hanoi is the part of the city that used to be under French control. As a result, we can find lots of French influences in the lifestyle, architecture, and culture of the area to date. Wandering around the French Quarter is one of the enjoyable things to do in Hanoi Old Quarter, as it increases awareness of colonial French architecture. The old quarter is a famous business area and is filled with hawkers on its streets, selling souvenirs and food. Trying out the street food here is a must.
Shop at Dong Xuan
When it comes to shopping in Hanoi, the Dong Xuan Market is the place to go to. It is a four-storeyed Soviet-style premise. The fish market on the ground floor is possibly one of the most extensive fish markets one will ever encounter. Name any species of fish, and it is bound to be found and sold there. Thus, the place is not for those whose noses are particularly sensitive to the smell of fish. Not just fish, the Dong Xuan Market is home to a variety of other shops as well as souvenirs, clothes, especially printed T-shirts, at the most unimaginably low prices.
Go to the Hanoi Opera House
The architecture of the Hanoi Opera House is inspired by that of the Paris Opera House. It is located in the French part of the city. It was built for the purpose of the entertainment of the French rulers during their reign. The House went into ruin and had to be renovated after the French left the country. The price of an opera performance may be from anywhere between 300 INR to 6000 INR as it depends on the performance. Mostly the performances consist of a Vietnamese style of opera, ballet, and a music concert.
Dong Xuan Market In Hanoi
Dong Xuan Market is the largest roofed indoor market in Hanoi and also the busiest one by far. Within a stone-throwing distance of Hoan Kiem Lake in the old quarter of Hanoi, this French-era marketplace is the hub for cheap wholesale trade in Hanoi. Established in 1889 by combining two previously existing markets, Dong Xuan...

Tapas's 7 days trip to HanoiIt was a great experience all over of my parents. They are pleased. As per expectation. From the beginning till end coordination from Sruthi(Travel Triangle) and specially Eric's (AsiaAuthentic, Vietnam) was really good and up to the mark. Except arrival at Hanoi, had to wait more than 30 mins for the driver and was searching here and there, make my parents scared in other country after landing. Try to give importancy for Indian food. Keep up with good work and happy.Cheers Boat Cruise at Halong bay

Gopalakrishnan Coimbatore Ramachandran
Gopalakrishnan's 8 days trip to HanoiThe trip was organised as planned. Lucy of S Viet was quick to respond to any queries and to sort out any issues we faced while on tour. A bit more information sharing upfront would be more useful, instead of us asking the tour timings everyday. The Pacific Angkor hotel at Siam Reap was quite nice, but it is not suitable for vegetarians. There was nothing on the breakfast for vegetarians except fruits and bread, as even the Soup and Porridge was non-veg. Also the hotel is near Airport and far away from city, that we had to pay for TukTuk more than the cost of dinner everyday that we stayed there, as the hotel restaurant options were very limited.
Vijay's 6 days trip to HanoiExcellent services and help from both your India team and counterpart team at Vietnam. Thank you for making my holiday trip successful. Best regards, Vijay C: 9574749222
