The best places to visit in Darjeeling include Tiger Hill. A beautiful sunrise accompanied by hot tea from local vendors is a must at one of the experiences to have in Darjeeling. Another great Darjeeling tourist spot is the Tea Garden. Having said that, some of the finest tea in India is grown, processed, and exported to the U.K. and the Netherlands from the backyard of Darjeeling. Tea gardens possibly the most interesting place as they show tourists the entire process of tea manufacture. At the end of the tour, there are tea-tasting sessions in the boutique shop. This tea can be purchased only at this Darjeeling tourist spot as it is of export quality and remains unavailable in Indian markets.

For pure fun and sightseeing in Darjeeling, the Batasia Loop close to Tiger Hill is marvelous too.
