Possibly one of the biggest tourist attractions in West Bengal, there are many beautiful places to visit in Darjeeling. Famed for its distinctive black tea, and its narrow gauge railway or the “Toy Train”, tourist places in Darjeeling have a rustic charm.

The best places to visit in Darjeeling include Tiger Hill. A beautiful sunrise accompanied by hot tea from local vendors is a must at one of the experiences to have in Darjeeling. Tea gardens possibly the most interesting place as they show tourists the entire process of tea manufacture. At the end of the tour, there are tea-tasting sessions in the boutique shop. This tea can be purchased only at this Darjeeling tourist spot as it is of export quality and remains unavailable in Indian markets.

For pure fun and sightseeing in Darjeeling, the Batasia Loop close to Tiger Hill is marvelous too. With flowery gardens, small hills, clear views of Kanchenjunga Mountain Peak, and the War Memorial of the Gorkha regiment martyrs, this is one of the best places to visit in Darjeeling.
