Essential information of Andaman
Andaman is a tropical paradise rising out of the Bay of Bengal. The archipelago is a magnet for honeymooners and families on vacation looking for an exile from the monotony of mainland. Travellers should get the basic idea about weather and food of Andaman, which is not usually available on a typical tourist map of Andaman and Nicobar islands. Here is some key information on Andaman and Nicobar Islands which will come handy during your holiday in Andaman.
Food of Andaman and Nicobar Islands:
Like most coastal territories in India, Andaman and Nicobar Islands are famous for seafood-based cuisine. Whether it is a lavish seafood platter at upscale restaurants or a quick bite in the street, seafood in Andaman is ubiquitous. Coconut prawn curry, an excellent dish cooked with local spices, grilled lobsters, freshly-caught sardines, and some of the must-try food in Andaman Islands. Locals and indigenous tribes follow a simpler rule: they cook whatever they caught. Most local restaurants serve dishes made from crabs, prawns, and cuttlefish. Vegetarians need not worry as there are plenty of joints that offer North Indian and South Indian cuisine in Port Blair. The capital city has plenty of multi-cuisine restaurants lined up in the main market. Besides traditional food in Andaman, travellers can also enjoy the fresh harvest of banana, mango, pineapple, and guava.
Climate of Andaman
The archipelago experiences two-season weather pattern: dry summers and wet winters. Summer temperatures in Andaman linger in mid-thirties and humidity in the day is high. The weather of Andaman between October and early May remains ideal for sightseeing, beach activities, and other excursions. The rainfall in Andaman starts early from May and usually lasts till September. The city of Port Blair witnesses a tropical monsoon climate throughout the year. Least rainfall is in the months of January, February, and March.

Trip to AndamanThe whole trip was awesome...... all the travel coordinators, drivers and hotel staff were very cooperative and very punctual The Baratang trip
Trip to AndamanAbout Travel Triangle: They have great sales team like Mr. Abu Azar who will not miss any single moment to call you until deal has been finalized. Once you make payment and you have any kind of issue related to trip, now it's your turn to call Travel Triangle and inform him about the issue because their work has been ended now as payment has been done, that's it. And their first response is you should contact to vendor which is really weird. Before finalize the deal Travel Triangle were calling me continuously, but surprisingly now they don't want to involve anymore. For example I rejected my vouchers uploaded by vendor because they were not correct, I informed to TravelTriangle myself but still they didn't have any concern for this and suggested me to contact the vendor directly. If I have to contact vendor directly why am I taking service from you. TravelTriangle, don't use this approach and you should stand with traveller after finalized the deal because we have been shown faith in you but it seems you guys have ONLY concern for your 10% commission on deal amount which is not good thing. About Da Ocean World: Mr. Mridul in sales team is a great guy to customize your package. But unfortunately sales team does not have any involvement during the trip. Mr. Tanmay in reservation department and Mr. Vikash are good guy who listen you and manage the things. But there is great coordination gap between sales team and reservation team /miscommunication as things of our honeymoon package was not as per your itinerary and we decided like no bouquet on arrival, no flower decorated bed on first night, no honeymoon cake which is not a good thing. When I talked with Mr. Tanmay about it then he told me that sales team has not informed us anything like that and generally we arrange these things on last day. They completed decorated bed and cake formality on last night (no flower bouquet) but you might improve your bed decoration because it does not fit the standard under honeymoon package and try to have any other flavour of cake above Pineapple. But I am still not able to understand the logic behind this arrangement to have it on last night???? On Neil island they first provided another room but when we asked for Lagoon Suit as per our itinerary then they changed it. Except these things, everything was really good and I really appreciate Da Ocean's whole team work and help to make the trip wonderful. Mr. Rehan (our driver cum guide on port blair) is a very helpful person for all things and he has very good behavior. I am really thankful to God that I selected Da Ocean world vendor due to which trip has been completed in a good way as TravelTriangle does not show any interest after completion of sale.
Trip to AndamanGsk has done a fantastic job accept the last day stay at portblair. Water sports activities at elephanta beach, scuba at havelock, cellular Jail.

All the arrangements were good and will be looking forward in future to have more such wonderful trips and memories with you. Havelock hotel was awesome (Deluxe room).
Trip to AndamanThanks for the great experience.... Havelock beach resort, radhanagar beach was the best experience
Trip to AndamanIt was a well planned trip and cost effective as well. Had a nice time with my wife on this trip. would like to mention Mr Harish from Country home hotel who went above and beyond his duties to make our stay there better .
Trip to Andamanwe had very great holidays with few minor problems but they were negligible.... overall great experience with dream yatraz
Trip to AndamanHad a nice trip. Everything was nicely managed. Just one of the beach was not functional and the complimentary water activity scheduled there could have been arranged alternatively at other place.
Trip to AndamanThe trip was good. The cab drivers were punctual There was a confusion with the name of hotel at Havelock. A different hotel name was given in the voucher given to us. So the driver first took to that hotel. After reaching there we were told that there was no booking in our name. We called the person who met us at Portblair. He had no clue and asked us to call travel agent. We called both GSK and Travel Triangle but nobody picked the phone. After some delay our driver took to the correct hotel. This could have been totally avoided. When we reached Havelock Jetty to get a boat for Elephanta beach we had to wait as the person at counter told the boat will start if only 10 passengers are available. Again nobody from GSK was picking the phone. The Cab driver was asking to us to cancel the Elephanta Trip and get refund and instead he will take us to Kalapathar beach on cab. I told I need the trip as per the itenary for which I paid. Meanwhile my husband talked to Travel Triangle and briefed the situation. Finally they the boat started with us and one more couple. Again as per itenary we have breakfast all the day where was we got it only 3rd day. It was informed to the agent from the beginning that 3 nights at Portblair will be directly booked by us. Similarly the entry fees at Ross island was paid by us where as the travel agent was supposed to provide us entry fee. Considering the travel agent booked only one night stay I felt the price was on a higher level. I met so many from Kerala with less per head amount inclusive of all day stay and breakfast. Water sports activities at Elephanta beach The swimming experience at Radhanagar beach. The beautiful Munda Pahad beach. Cellular Jail
Trip to AndamanEverything was good except our resort at Havelock it was quite clumsy except that everything was good
