After much consideration, my friend who has already been to the Andamans suggested us to plan a trip to the islands and since I love water sports we decided to travel to the Andamans. Day 1: The Voyage Begins!
On arrival at Port Blair, we were greeted by our travel guide who then took us to our nice and pleasant accommodation. After resting for a while, we visited the Cellular Jail which is among the most popular tourist destinations in Andaman. The historic National Memorial speaks of the heroic stories of freedom fighters. Many exhibitions and art galleries are conducted inside the jail. My husband and I gathered many stories about the freedom fighters. We also attended the evening light and sound show which recites the saga of the heroic freedom struggle and brought alive in a moving Son-et-Lumiere.

Day2: Push that Adrenaline Rush!
Today was the day to get a little adventurous and experience the various water sports offered on the Island. We went for a glass submarine ride. It gave us a great opportunity to get close to the underwater marine life and discover the hidden gems underwater. Later we enjoyed the pleasant weather and views of the sunset while walking on the white sandy beaches. The rest of the day was well-spent and we captured a lot of photographs of the pristine views and our smiling faces.
Days 3,4 and 5: Island Hopping
On the third day, we boarded a ferry to the Havelock Islands. We had planned to spend 3 days of relaxation and comfort on the beautiful islands and the journey started today. On our way, we took splendid photos of the picturesque surroundings and turquoise waters. Finally, I got the peace and tranquility that I was looking for. After checking in at the hotel, we rested and later went on to explore the Radhanagar beach. The sunset views from the beach were a sight to behold. We spent hours sitting on the warm sands, talking and taking pictures.
On one of our days on the Havelock Islands, we also went for scuba diving. I had always wanted to go scuba diving and my trip to the Andamans made it happen. Witnessing the amazing underwater sea life, we got to see a lot of unique and beautiful water bodies. Bright and colorful fishes crossed our paths while we witnessed the admirable formation of coral reefs. A perfect diving experience on the islands was a part of our perfect getaway.
The candlelight dinner at the hotel was a perk for us on the trip. The hotel staff showed us the way to our beautiful setup by the beach. A table was laid and decorated for me and my husband. We totally loved the whole ambiance of the place and spent some quality time with each other.

Day6: A Day At Leisure!
Today we took a ferry to the Neil Islands. TravelTriangle had already made arrangements for a room in the Cocon-huts beach resort. After check-in into the resort, we tip-toed to the white sandy beaches. The crystal clear water of Neil Islands and the clear blue skies gave a pleasant ambiance. A glass boat ride in a speed boat is a must have experience. We were also taken to explore nature’s wonders known as nature’s bridge. This bridge is formed of natural rock formations and is one of nature’s marvels. We also witnessed the beautiful sunset on the beach which was a heavenly experience.
Day 7: B-Bye Andaman!
Today we returned to Portblair and went for some shopping and closed our holiday with lots of new memories and wonderful experiences.
