Chadwick Falls In Shimla
Chadwick Falls in Shimla is one of the most beautiful attractions that Shimla has to offer. A comparatively smaller waterfall, if you have seen others, but the trek that leads up to it is one of the most serene and gorgeous. The dense forestland all around, the gushing water from the immense height, and the serenity that envelops it all is a sight for all your senses. The towering pine trees and the fragrance of the wild flowers, coupled with the clear pool of water at the foot of the waterfall is sure to set the mood for a great time. Chadwick Falls in located in Glen Forest, which is a little more than 7 kms away from Summer Hill Chowk. The waterfalls is located nearly 1586 meters above sea level, and is at its peak during the monsoon months. There are a couple of rock benches here, where you can sit and enjoy the view. Depending upon the season and time of your visit, you are likely to face a moderate crowd or find the place absolutely deserted. The place is never over crowded, that’s for sure, so it is a good idea to make plans to spend a few hours here and enjoy the beautiful views all around.
