After you are done shopping you can even trek up to Jakhoo peak as the bazaar is at the beginning of this peak. Shimla is a shopaholic’s delight as there are several markets here where you can pick up a variety of shawls, local handicrafts, exquisite jewelry, woolens, etc. Among the markets of this “Queen of the Hills”, shopping at Lakkar bazaar is one of the most exciting endeavors as you can pick up some fun souvenirs and gift items for your loved ones. This market is well-known for its wooden items and you can easily purchase a variety of stylish wooden walking sticks. Especially if you are an avid trekker, these walking sticks will help you trek up and down the winding roads of Shimla and other hill stations. Most of the wooden walking sticks start from reasonable rate of Rs 100. You can also pick up figurines, toys, key chains, candle stands, carved sticks to pans, spoons and pots – all made of wood. This market is open right till midnight so you can spend your time browsing through this bazaar to pick up local shawls, fresh fruits like plums and cherries, carpets and sweets. Travel Agent Ms. Shilpa is very nice and supported where need. But the hotel in McLeodganj, Sky Bhagsu was not good. It is like a guest house not like a 3 star hotel. Rooms are very small just like stores in houses. Even basic amenities are not available in rooms. Thanks to Ms. Shilpa, Travel Vichar and Travel Triangle for great experience.

The staff at Hotel in Manali lodge where we were going to have special honeymoon candlelight dinner was rude serving us candlelight dinner. The videos shown to me of candlelight dinner were different than what they given us in actual. There was mismatch in itinerary provided to cab driver and me.

Also check-in/check-out scheduled listed on Travel Triangle and actual check-in/check-out date for Hotel in Dharmashala were incorrect due to some technical glitch which resulted me in paying out of my pocket. Despite all these issues we were able to enjoy the trip but I was expecting more smoother experience.
