Best Time To Visit Punjab

April to June

The summers in Punjab make it unbearable to enjoy local sightseeing. Visitors avoid planning a trip during this season because of the high temperature resulting in the scorching heat.

July to September

The spots closer to the mountains in Punjab receive heavy rainfall. On the other hand, locations that don’t receive heavy rains get humid. Tourists avoid visiting Punjab during monsoon season as the sightseeing becomes problematic.

October to March

It is the best time to visit Punjab because the weather conditions make it favorable for sightseeing. The pleasant weather makes it a peak season resulting in a large crowd of visitors. Also, a few areas of Punjab experience temperatures less than zero degrees.

How To Reach Punjab?

By Air

Two international airports in Punjab, Sri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport in Amritsar and Chandigarh International Airport in Mohali, are well-connected internationally and nationally. Domestic airports include Pathankot Airport, Adampur Airport (Jalandhar), Sahnewal Airport (Ludhiana), and Bathinda Airport.

By Rail

Amritsar Junction Railway Station is the busiest railway station in Punjab. Other stations include Bathinda Junction, Ludhiana Junction, Pathankot Junction, Jalandhar Cantonment, Firozpur Cantonment, and Patiala Railway Station.

By Road

An extensive network of roads connects various parts of East India and North East India. Bus services from Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and other locations are available.

Urvashi at North India tour and travel was a persuasive girl who literally compelled me to book my trip. The taxi with driver Sajjan Singh were the best companion of the trip. The Hotel Sunpark Resorts Chandigarh was no where near Chandigarh, rather at a bypass location of Punjab side and the staff their gave us a pathetic room which was no where near to the pictures posted on website. I got a feeling that the staff at Chandigarh probably thought the people booking rooms through travel agent have got the rooms for free. The saving face at Chandigarh was its Buffet. As far as the Manali stay at Hotel Snow Country is concerned, it was an all round Good experience. But Hotel Shimla Greens at Shimla although being a good new hotel was at such a distant place that we wasted our first day of arrival simply because we couldn't afford to travel for local sightseeing considering the steepness and far off distance of the hotel from any place worth a visit. Food / Buffet gave a clear indication of the people concerned at Shimla Greens to be miser who didnt even provide soup which we purchased from our own at a chilly night apart from ordering Non- Veg. People at North India Tour and travel probably book these hotels like one at Chandigarh and Shimla only to garner maximum margins which is pathetic to say the least. On the whole my ratings and response would be Neutral at best and would compare other options before making any booking the next time.

A nice holiday to Manali... Transportation from Delhi was a little hectic... not a big problem though... The third day sightseeing was a disappointment... On reviewing now, it feels that we could have a better itinery if we had done some pre research online.. Travel agent services were good.. Hotel Snow country was fine..Cab driver was a nice Punjabi man.. went to his house in Punjab and had a cup of tea on our return to Delhi... Gulaba was the finest part of the trip.. Looking for more trips with travel triangle...

Abhishek's 4 days trip to Himachal

I booked my family trip to manali with adventure mania using travel triangle app. Mukul was the agent who provided us package in a reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay and sightseeing. Hotel indrasan and hotel grand oasis were clean and had delicious menu in breakfast and dinner. Nitesh and other staff in Indrasan hotel were very supportive. The only problem we faced was the driver Kamal jeet. While travelling chandigarh airport to/from manali he refused to turn on the AC even if we only asked him to turn on AC in Punjab area only and not in manali as the temperature in Punjab area was very hot. He was very rude and always stopped the car very far from sightseeing point e.g. at vashisht temple he dropped us at lower parking even if car could have gone beyond that point and there was an upper parking as well which would have saved our efforts to climb the hill. The driver kamal jeet was always busy with phone while driving and never listened to us and eventually got us delayed to airport. We were about to miss our fligh because of him. I strongly recommend never ever go with Kamal Jeet driver if you are planning with adventure mania. Sissu, atal tunnel, manikaran, hadimba temple, vashishtha temple.

Nimiaggarwal's 6 days trip to Bali

Risata, Kuta property is perfect for all the Indians. They have amazing Indian food plus 5 min walk to beach. On the other hand, Ubud Ashoka Tree is peaceful place to relax and chill. But no good option of Indian food. Don't buy anything from "Krishna Mart". Instead by from local market from ubud bali, behind Bali King palace. I recommend not to start trip from Kuta start from Ubud. You can skip Gitgit waterfall and GWK total wastage of time. In Bali swing Dress is not included in package and it cost 2L IDR. Buy chocolates and souvenirs from kintamani volacno market. Everything was so good beacuse we got amazing driver named "Nyoman Suparta" guided us so well. Lastly, avoid travelling from Air Asia Airlines it cheap but serve no water and food stinkes, seats no comfortable, no check-in baggage included. Think twice to book cheap airlines like Air Asia. Places to eat. 1. Kuta near Risata resort ( Anaporna, kebab and curry) 2. Hidden Hill tour( Warung Makan Banyumala) 2 min walk to Hidden Hill 3. Bali market( Queens, Sher-e Punjab)

Pardeep's 6 days trip to Andaman

It has been a good experience of purchasing an Andaman package from Travel Triangle. All things about the package i.e. itinerary details were well explained by the company representative. Cost wise it was fine. Though the trip was fine, but i would like to share here the horrible experience we went through on landing in Port Blair Airport. I had made all the requisite payments and provided ID proofs of my family members at least 20 days before the date of traveling. I traveled with my family on Jan 4, 2020. After hectic overnight journey from Punjab to Port Blair, when we reached Port Blair on Jan. 5, 2020 Sunday at 8am there was no one to receive at the airport. Five contact numbers were provided on the Voucher i.e. of Travel travel triangle representative Mr. Anuj, two emergency contact numbers and of Ms. Surbhi Sharma. All these numbers were switched off. I desperately called these numbers for two hours from the airport but there was no response. Some how i managed to reach the designated hotel(Da Bay Inn). To my surprise there was no booking in my name in the said hotel. This incident caused a lot of botheration to my family and created the doubt in our minds. For whole trip we were in uncertainty about our hotel and ferry booking. Silver lining in all these things was Mr. Amjed, the local coordinator of the trip. On his name we were able to check in the hotel on first day. He has a very good reputation. When i read his name to the hotel authorities from my voucher they accommodated us. Later in the evening he met us and assured us about all the hotel booking and taxi services. so i suggest all to contact all the hotels before embarking on your journey. Later i was contacted by the Travel Triangle representative Mr. Anuj. He explained that he was stuck up somewhere. Trip advisor Ms. Surbhi Sharma told that on sunday we are not on duty. But my point is that ,if one person is stuck up somewhere , the emergency contact numbers must work. There is not any kind of emergency response service available in Travel Triangle. So please get a package from this company on your own risk.
