Wong Tai Sin Temple, Hong Kong (Sik Sik Yuen)

The Wong Tai Sin Temple is a very popular tourist attraction located on the southern side of the Lion Rock in the north part of the Kowloon. The temple is one of the most renowned tourist places in Hong Kong and devoted to the Wong Tai sin or Great the immortal wong. The Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple is also known for answering all the prayers, what you request is what you get’ is saying famously for the temple. The prayer in the temple is practical with a different way called Kau Sim. You get an opportunity to get spiritual at Wong Tai Sin Temple while your journey in Hong Kong. Apart from the superpower of the temple to grant every wish it is also popular for royally embedded yet crafted with simplicity monuments. The region is home to religions including Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism living there for a long time.  

Traditions and Facilities at Wong Tai Sin Temple

The temple also accommodates the famous monk of yore, Wong Tai Sin who also known as Huang Chu-ping born in the Fourth century and then finally became a deity at Heng Shan (Red Pine Hill). Taoist priest Liang Ren-an in 1915 took a sacred portrait of Wong Tai Sin from Guangdong located in southern China to Hong Kong. Now, with the presence of the precious portrait, the temple becomes the place to come and pray to get what you want.

From January 1 to 15 experience the numerous visitors most of them are returning back to thank the immortal after their wishes are fulfilled. On the occasion of the Wong Tai Sin birthday which happens to be on the 23rd day of the 8th lunar month, the temple is busiest to visit. Another Chinese tradition, thousands of the great Wong follower waits outside the temple on every new year’s eve and rush into the altar when the new year strikes with their glowing incense sticks. The tradition says the sooner you reach to the Wong Tai Sin in the New Year the better your year will be.

A Spiritual Spot: Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple in Hong Kong

Numerous worshipper comes to get spiritual at Wong Tai Sin temple by practicing the Kai him. The worshippers light up the incense sticks knell in the front of the altar to wish by sharing a bamboo cylinder containing the fortune sticks and keep shaking until sticks fall out. Having a knowledgeable guide would enhance the overall experience by providing insights and ensuring smooth navigation through the city.       ings were made incorrectly by our spoc. This is very sad to write but, he did not correct it nor he had a courtesy to call the us and ask whether it is rectified or not. And most importantly, i would like to thank Bijay Kushwaha for the quick support by him. I had contacted him at 11PM regarding the ferry tickets issue. And the very next day he corrected my ferry tickets and sent me the updated tickets. And even he told that we can contact him anytime if any issue is there throughout my journey. This is the support customers need, when making the bookings from travel agency. We had even contacted customer care and whats app group regarding the same issue. But we were told that they can fix this in official hours. When we did not know whether our issue will get resolved or not, as we were supposed to fly within 10-11 hours. We really appreciate Bijay for helping us.
