After landed to Trivandrum and on-boarded in taxi, You welcome me in Kerala like you and your system like terrorist group and rush to all payment in minutes otherwise taxi will be parked on highway and will not move till the payment. Karumadikuttan.

What is the history behind this tourist attraction?

The granite statue of Karumadikuttan Buddha is believed to have been built by Buddhist monks who visited Kerala between the 9th and 11th centuries through the port of Alappuzha, carrying the message of love and non-violence. Keralites who followed Buddhism gradually became Hindus.
