Athirappilly Falls

The waterfalls of Athirappilly are often known as Niagara Falls of India which fall from a height of 80 feet and are 330 feet wide. These falls are majestic in size and are considered to be the largest in Kerala. The waterfall is settled in the dense forest of Vazhachal. The forest surrounding Athitapally falls is one of the best biodiversity spots in the country. It is a paradise for nature lovers as one sees a wide variety of flora and fauna. You will find many endangered species like Indian hornbill, lion-tailed macaque, Nilgiri langur, and cane turtle. These waterfalls are one of the most famous Athirappilly tourist spots. I recently took a trip to Kerala organized by Travel Triangle, with OIO Travel as the agency. Overall, it was a good experience with some challenges. The main issue was the driver, who lacked communication skills and wasn’t as proactive in guiding us on how to plan our days. On the positive side, the hotels were mostly excellent. Spice Jungle Resort and Golden Sands Beach Resort were top-notch, offering great hospitality and comfort. However, our experience at Hotel Padmam was less satisfying in comparison. Despite the driver’s shortcomings, the trip itself was enjoyable, and I would recommend the package, especially for the quality of most accommodations The best parts of my trip were visiting Rameswaram and Meenakshi temples, enjoying the beaches near Golden Sands Beach Resort, and the peaceful backwater cruise. Staying at Spice Jungle Resort surrounded by nature was also a highlight. Overall, it was a memorable experience

My travel agent was like " we can't guide drivers (who was assigned by them) but can guide customers as drivers are hired through third parties" . What they should understand is their reputation is tied with the assigned guide/driver, & they can't simply deny their responsibility
