How To Reach Mattupetty Dam

Mattupetty Dam is located in the scenic hill station of Munnar where the lush green meadows and cool climate will sweep you off your feet. This dam lies at a height of  1,700 meters and is located near the Anamudi peak. This dam has a good network system and is well-connected. There are several ways one can reach this dam, including:

If you are traveling to Mattupetty Dam by air, you can fly to the nearest airport that is the Cochin International Airport. This airport is about 108 kilometers from Munnar.

Tourists traveling to Mattupetty Dam can travel by train and the nearest railway station to this dam is Angamaly. You can travel via Aluva to Munnar road. This is located about 109 kilometers from the hill station of Munnar.

If you are planning to travel to Mattupetty Dam by bus, you can travel by train or bus till Aluva. From here, there are several direct buses till Munnar. If you are travelling by taxi, head to Angamaly railway station and then catch a cab till Munnar.

Room service is good and food is also good of hotel Tea village and marrari village resort . hotel periyar meadows was not too good
    and food is of very poor quality. over all this trip worth buying. Marrari village resort Alleppey and Tea village munnar was best and memorable
