The Ajmer Jain Temple is one of the iconic structures in the city of Ajmer, Rajasthan, India. The temple came into the formation during the late 19th century. The reason why this Jain place of worship is quite famous is because of its stunning architecture and it being a symbol of devotion amongst the Jain community all around the world. There is a usage of different materials for its construction and design. The main hall or chamber here is called the City of Gold, or Swarna Nagari. There are many wooden figures here of the important figures of Jainism. These figurines are covered with pure gold. The famous city of Ayodhya in India depicted in the Indian mythological text Ramayana is also portrayed here in the form of an art piece that was made using around 1000 kilograms of gold metal.
The other name of the temple is Soniji Ki Nasiyan which was made to dedicate prayers to Lord Rishabhdev. The other names of the temple are Siddhi Koot Chaityalaya, Sone ka Mandir, Soni Mandir, Nasiyan of Seth Moolchand Soni, and Red Temple. There are two main parts of the temple, the one part has the main idol while the other one has been turned into a museum. Inside the museum, you will see the life of Lord Adinath in the form of 5 stages. Usage of around 1000 kg of gold has been done for the construction of the first floor of the temple, hence it is also called Soniji ki Nasiyan.

Soniji ki Nasiyan has great importance in the Jain religion. The temple due to its construction with the red stones is also known as Lal Mandir. People especially Jainies come to the temple not only for its architecture but also to offer prayers. The temple tells the whole life story of the famous Jain God named Lord Adinath.
