How to Reach Krabi

Located on the south-west coast of Thailand, if one wants to know how to go to Krabi, then the only way to be here is via airways. One can board flights, like: Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines, and more from India to Krabi to explore this enticing place. Being one of the popular tourism destinations for Indians, thousands of tourists flock here to enjoy a holiday while lazing along its exotic beaches and indulging in water sports.

The Krabi International Airport is well-connected to all the major Asian countries, including India. As the India to Krabi distance is approximately 3200 kilometres by air, one can easily board a plane from India to reach here, taking an average time of 10 hours. One can also avail local transportation facilities, and board a bus from Bangkok or Phuket to reach Krabi. However, Krabi is not well-connected by rail. One shall have to take a road transport to reach Krabi from its nearest railway station, Trang.

Most flights from the Indian cities make one stop at Bangkok in Thailand, Singapore or Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. From those airports, there are connecting direct flights to the Krabi International Airport which is around 15 km away from the Krabi city centre. The flight time varies depending upon the city from which or the airlines on which one is flying. The whole journey, excluding an extended gap between the two connecting flights can take around 7 hours if one is flying from Mumbai to Krabi, 7.30 hours if it is Bangalore to Krabi and 8.30 hours if the journey is Delhi to Krabi. For convenience and cost-cutting purposes, as well as to see the city of Bangkok, most people fly to Don Muang or Suvarnabhumi Airport there.

Had excellent support from the agency (especially Prajosh) during the planning of itinerary phase. During the trip, responses were very slow and execution wasn't great. Apart from the already booked ones, if you ask for any suggestions, they will say "checking" and don't respond after that. So, if you need some support during the trip, they may not be quick to respond. They have tied up with some other agency in Thailand so this agency doesn't have full control and they have to depend on third party which could lead to delays and some inconveniences. Overall, they were good and I will recommend them

Hi team, I really enjoyed the trip. The 2 things i didn't liked is prior information of day's plan like what will be part of the itinerary. on 4 islands tour in Krabi, after reaching the island tour guide informed us that we can do the snorkling. The plan need to be known in advance to wear the necessary cloths. 2nd, sometimes pickup times are very early in the morning - even we don't get good time to have a breakfast in hotel. Min pickup time should be post 8:30 AM. We have asked to get ready for pickup by 7 am. How is it possible to get ready by 7 with breakfast. We come for leisure and this early pickups are not good experience.

All the planning for the trip and travel everything went well and good. Places and the travel agency took good care and communicated properly. Only think that screwed up in while hotel booking. My package rate rent higher from 47500 to 54000 approx, just because the hotel went under maintenance, The booking could have been shifted to other hotel immediately but the Travel agency took their sweet time and due to that the hotel rate went higher as it was peak time already, this happened 5-6 days before the trip. Which costed me 4.9k extra. But the trip went very well and peacefully, But for suggestion please avoid the above issue and follow up with the hotels and keep a backup.
