3. Tiger Cave
A little something for the history and nature enthusiasts, the Tiger Cave or Wat Tham Sua is one of the most famous caves in the network of caves in the lush green jungles near the Krabi town. The caves house Buddhist monks and are famous for the tiger footprints set in stone in the ‘Tiger Cave’. The caves also house a number of relics and icons related to the Buddhist religion. A 1272 step climb will take one to the top of the limestone tower to see the footprints of Buddha himself.
4. Klong thom hot springs
The natural hot springs situated in the Khao Phra Bang Khram nature reserve are fuelled by ancient volcanic chambers and the spring itself is said to cure a number of skin and other ailments of the body. The nearby emerald pool is a great motivation to visit this hot spring so as to check these two places out of one's Krabi points of interest checklist.
5. Ao Luk Mangroves
A getaway to the lap of nature, one can visit the mangroves and appreciate the exotic flora and fauna native to the place. A great trip for exploration lies 40 km from the Krabi town and is a great way to spend a day of soft-adventure and relaxing environment.
