How to reach Pattaya from Bangalore

Bangalore To Pattaya By Flight 

Pattaya has a domestic airport which is U-Tapao Airport. It is located at a distance of 30 kilometres from Pattaya at Sattahip but offers limited connectivity. However, the main airport is actually located at a distance of 120 kms from Pattaya. Therefore, you have to take a flight from Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) in Bangalore to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok. On reaching the airport in Bangkok, you have to cover a drive of an hour and a half approximately to reach Pattaya. You can hire any of taxis available from Suvarnabhumi to Pattaya. Some of the popular airlines operating their flights from Bangalore to Pattaya are Bangkok Airways, Singapore Airlines, Silkair and Emirates. 

Bangalore To Pattaya By Road

As mentioned before, many people choose to take the roadway trip from Bangkok to Pattaya instead of flying straight to the latter city. There are enough buses, pre-booked minibusses, vans, and cabs from Bangkok to travel to Pattaya. However, making the whole journey from Bangalore by road will be a little too much. Bangalore to Pattaya distance by road is around 5370 km and it takes more than 100 hours to make the journey. The road from Manipur to Bangkok via Myanmar is however very nice and easy to pass through, except the long hours of driving.

Bangalore To Pattaya By Train

There aren’t any railway connections between Bangalore and Pattaya. However, one can avail train ride from Bangkok after reaching there via flight. A train leaves Hua Lamphong station in Bangkok for Pattaya station every day at 7 am and takes three hours to complete the journey.
