Vidura's 9 days trip to Himachal

My family and I recently traveled from Sri Lanka to Delhi, embarking on an adventurous journey through various parts of India. Our experience was a blend of highs and lows, each destination leaving a distinct impression on us. Upon our arrival at Delhi airport, we were greeted by a courteous and efficient driver who assisted us with our luggage. His excellent communication skills in English made our transition smooth as he escorted us to our next cab driver. While the second driver lacked proficiency in English, his unwavering support throughout our journey was commendable. Our first stop was the picturesque Indrasan Hotel in Manali, where we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The hotel's ambiance and amenities were top-notch, contributing to a memorable stay. However, our experience took a downturn at Hotel Anupam in Kasol. Despite satisfactory food, the room quality and service fell short of expectations, leaving us somewhat disappointed. Fortunately, our spirits were lifted upon reaching Welcome Paradise Hotel in Shimla. Nestled in a scenic location, the hotel offered excellent food and impeccable service, making our stay truly delightful. Sadly, our final destination, Hotel Nand Kartar in Delhi, proved to be a stark contrast. The subpar service and hygiene standards, reminiscent of street food stalls, left much to be desired. Regrettably, our first meal at the hotel resulted in food poisoning, forcing us to cancel our planned excursion to Agra. Despite these setbacks, our overall trip was enjoyable. However, the ongoing farmers' protest limited our ability to explore certain areas due to time constraints. In conclusion, our journey through India was a rollercoaster of experiences. While some accommodations exceeded our expectations, others left us wanting more. Nevertheless, the warmth of the Indian hospitality and the beauty of its landscapes left a lasting impression on us.
