Visapur trek is one of the best treks in Lonavala which is also one of the easiest treks in India. The fort is amidst the lush green valleys and looks heavenly beautiful.
History of Visapur Fort The Visapur Fort stands magnificently depicting the history and power of the Maratha rulers. It is often referred to as the twin fort of Lohagad fort but is built in more area as compared to the Lohagad Fort and also at a higher elevation.
The Architecture of Visapur Fort
Numerous caves, veranda walls, and a fleet of stairs constitute the architecture of Visapur Fort. Inside the well, one can also find a well that as per folklores has been there since the time of Pandavas. The fort looks majestic with caves, Hanuman temples, and veranda walls.
