Kittu's 6 days trip to Vietnam

It was a great experience traveling with Travel Triangle and VietAurora. I would like to split my feedback into two sections: **Good** and **Areas for Improvement**. **Good** 1. **Outstanding Travel Arrangements**: The travel vehicles, guides, locations, and Halong Bay cruise were exceptional. Our stay in Danang was equally remarkable. 2. **Cruise Upgrade**: Our agent upgraded our Halong Bay cruise to a balcony view, which made our experience truly special as we spent quality family time on the water. 3. **Punctual Pickups and Drops**: Every pickup and drop was on time, saving us valuable time to enjoy and explore. 4. **Thoughtful Birthday Surprise**: We visited Vietnam to celebrate our child's birthday, and our agent, Hannah, sent a wonderful cake to mark the occasion. It made us feel incredibly special. 5. **Safety and Care**: Hannah ensured our safety and well-being throughout the trip, from the start until we returned to India. 6. **Excellent Coordination**: The coordination and communication from the agent were seamless, making our trip stress-free and enjoyable. **Areas for Improvement** 1. **Early Check-in Request**: We arrived in Hanoi at 10:00 AM, but the standard check-in time was 2:00 PM. Despite requesting early check-in, it was not arranged. This cost us 4–5 hours, which could have been better utilized. 2. **Ba Na Hills Trip**: On our way to Ba Na Hills, we spent an hour shopping for pearls. This was unnecessary, as we had already shopped earlier during the trip. That time could have been better spent exploring Ba Na Hills. 3. **Ocean View Request**: While I did get an ocean-view room in Danang, it was on the 4th floor. I was expecting a higher floor (e.g., 16th) for a better view. 4. **Exit Day Vehicle Issue**: On our last day, I requested an earlier vehicle for shopping before heading to the airport. This was denied by the agent, who suggested booking locally instead. While I managed, this could have been better coordinated to save time. 5. **Limited Trip Planning Support**: The agent often asked us to check with the hotel reception for nearby places to visit. I expected the agent to provide a comprehensive itinerary, detailing must-visit spots, optional activities, and chargeable add-ons to help us make the most of our trip. 6. **Currency Suggestion**: I was advised to bring USD, but in many shopping areas, payments were required in VND. This led to additional currency conversion fees, which could have been avoided with clearer guidance. Overall, it was a wonderful trip, and I appreciate the efforts of Travel Triangle and VietAurora. Addressing the above areas would make the experience even better for future travelers.

Dinesh's 5 days trip to Odisha

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Odisha, and it was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the amazing sights, rich culture, and excellent services. Here’s a breakdown of my experience with the key attractions, accommodations, and cab service: ### 1. **Hotels:** The hotels I stayed at during my tour were well-selected and comfortable. In **Puri**, The room was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was polite and attentive., I stayed in a centrally located hotel that was perfect for exploring the temples and other local attractions. One of my favourite hotel stay at Taptapani hill Resort. The amenities were top-notch, and the rooms were spacious, ensuring a restful stay after a day of sightseeing. ### 2. **Cab Service:** The cab service throughout my trip was excellent. “Basudeb” was punctual, professional, and well-versed with the routes to all the tourist spots. The Toyota Rumion was comfortable and air-conditioned, making long rides enjoyable. “Basudeb” also provided valuable insights into the culture and history of the places we visited, which added a personal touch to the journey. ### 3. **Key Places Visited:** - **Jagannath Puri Temple:** The highlight of my trip, the **Jagannath Temple** in Puri is an architectural marvel. The atmosphere is electric, filled with devotion and grandeur. The rituals and cultural significance of the temple left me in awe. - **Konark Sun Temple:** The **Konark Sun Temple** is another must-visit. The intricate carvings, coupled with its historical significance, make it one of the most impressive temples I’ve visited in India. The sheer scale and beauty of the temple left me speechless. - **Chilika Lake:** A boat ride on **Chilika Lake** was an absolute highlight. The serene waters, surrounded by lush greenery, made for a peaceful and scenic experience. We also spotted some river dolphins, which added a touch of nature's beauty to the trip. - **Lingaraj Temple:** The **Lingaraj Temple** in Bhubaneswar is a classic example of Kalinga architecture. The temple's massive size and ornate carvings were breathtaking. It’s one of the oldest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the spiritual atmosphere is palpable. - **Mukteshwar Temple:** This small yet beautiful temple is a hidden gem in Bhubaneswar. The carvings and the serene environment around the temple make it a peaceful spot to visit. - **64 Yogini Temple:** In Bhubaneswar, I visited another famous 64 Yogini Temple in the Hirapur area. this one is relatively well-preserved and gives a better sense of the temple's original layout and purpose. It has 64 small stone cells, each of which was once home to a deity representing one of the Yoginis. The temple is small and simple in comparison to the grand temples of Odisha, but there’s a deep spiritual energy here. I spent time observing the intricately carved stone sculptures, which depict various deities and symbolic motifs. The temple was quiet, which allowed for a reflective visit. - **Taptapani:** The hot water springs in **Taptapani** offered a unique experience. I soaked in the warm waters, which were incredibly relaxing, especially after a long day of sightseeing. - **Tibetan Village:** The **Tibetan Village** was a lovely stop. The peaceful vibe, combined with Tibetan culture, monasteries, and handicrafts, was a delightful experience. I learned a lot about Tibetan traditions and had the chance to purchase beautiful souvenirs. ### 4. **Overall Experience:** The entire trip was well-organized, with seamless transitions from one place to the next. The combination of cultural exploration, relaxation at Chilika Lake, spiritual immersion at the temples, and the scenic beauty of places like Taptapani made this tour an enriching experience. The cab service ensured that my journey was comfortable, and the accommodations were cozy and well-located. Overall, this tour to Odisha was a fantastic mix of spirituality, nature, and culture. Parveen's 10 days trip to Kerala

We had a great trip to Kerala. The hotels had been booked properly. The hotels were nice in general. The Kochi hotel could do with some minor but very important maintenance. Gave us the feeling that it is mostly unoccupied. Alleppy UDS was really nice. UDS hotels in Trivandrum and Kovlam were also nice even though the Kovlam hotel rooms were of lower than expected category. Buying the entrance tickets for most places were a somewhat painful experience because of long queues despite paying high or fast queue prices. 4 hour Houseboat experience in Alleppy was a bit disappointing . It was probably much better than a full day houseboat experience. I believe a Shikara boat for a few hours could have been a better experience. The Travel agent did not book the Pariyar Tiger Reserve tickets for boat ride in advance as per the deal. Finally we decided to give it a miss. The agent did however offer us the refund of the cost for that. Munnar gave us a real hill station feeling. The Aranyaka resort was very nice. Our room had great views. We could have spent some more days there.

Travel agent asked for tip, never ever had been asked for tip by an agent and when we denied after completing our trip ,agent said giving tip is not an big issue.Hotel Manager at hotel Grand Hill View begged for tip while he did not even lift our hankies ,no greetings,no welcome , nothing but while we were leaving he came to my husband asking for tip and when given 100 Rs ,he asked for more money saying give us more .As if our money is tree grown not earned. Pony ride charges were not mentioned in the itinerary at least must have been mentioned lum sum cost per person,so itinerary was not good. Coming back to hotel Rozan jay our room was good But at dinner, food was getting served as if you are having free food. New Manager walking in suit kept eyes on you while you fill your plate. And this behaviour was very unwelcoming , like seriously if you want your guest to have food as per your liking and serving capacity then do not even serve food. Also Menü varied to normal to good only when larger group checked in into the hotel, this is not right way. At least do not make your longer staying guests feel as nothing and less respectable just because they are not coming in with 5 6 persons. Gulmarg was great .

'Woodland hill stay' is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. Hotel personnel are not amicable, breakfast is very limited and not good, room size is not at par with the price, we were asked to shift the room the second day only God knows why. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Travel agent was good only till the booking. Good hotel and English speaking driver were the two requests I told Ms. Megha and she assured before booking. Hotel feedback is like above. Driver doesn't have minimum English knowledge to communicate and even after I requested to change the driver, she has sent the same driver and I found very difficult communicating with him. We had a very pocket-friendly trip at Coorg and Ooty, thanks to Travel Triangle for arranging such a wonderful trip. The timings were perfect coinciding with the nature's intricate way of displaying it's beauty throughout our trip. We started our trip from B'lore to Coorg and reached our destination at night due to traffic along the way but the Jungle Hill Resort was mesmerizing and quite well kept with a 4-bedded deluxe room. We visited the spectacular Golden Temple or one of the largest Tibetan Monastery which is also known as Namdroling Monastery. It encompasses the large school for the young monks and bave beautiful small cafes and eateries and souvenir shops for the tourist to check out. We found it had a beautiful view of the jungle and mountain view in the morning. The food was on the expensive side but we had breakfast buffet included in our package. Abbey Falls and the views of the meadows of Mandal petti were breathtaking. At Puspagiri National Park, it didn't feel like we were in India that showcased the best views of Nilgiri Hills adorned with the Nilkurungi plants. Rest of the places to visit were good but their slight overpriced such as Coffee Plantation tour, Dubbare Elephant Camp. Our hotels rooms at Ooty were disappointing. Rooms received from Kemp's Cave at their neighbouring building called The Baron's who gave us rooms with dirty linens, broken window lock, malfunctioning bathroom door and intercom. It was difficult to communicate with hotel staff although the reception staff were fast in sending help. Only the linens were changed and bathroom door was fixed. Rest were not fixed during our two days stay. The sightseeing was very good especially what made our day was the toy train ride from Ooty to Coonoor. The whole place was standstill due to traffic during public holiday so we had to resort to walking down the hill to reach the Ugadamandalam Railyway Station in Ooty. Pykara Falls and Lake, Wenlock Downs are picturesque places to remember in this trip. We opted out to visit Tea Factory and Doddabetta Peak due to heavy traffic. Mr. Rahul Kumar from All India Holiday has helped us before and throughout our trip to customise it and with payments at every juncture to make it a hassle-free ordeal. He have been very hospitable, content and patient in managing our trip . Travel Triangle and team has yet again made it possible for us to collect the best memories from hills of Ooty and Coorg. The best part of this trip was the journey through Bandipur Tiger Reserve and Madumalai Tiger Reserve when heading towards Ooty from Coorg via Bangalore-Mysore-Ooty Highway. We were surprised to spots innumerous deers, peacock, peahens, monkeys, wild Elephants and Giant Indian Squirrels. The reserves are well maintained with strict rules that are followed while traveling through them. We were lucky to get the glimpse of this reserve twice and both the times we have got to spot the animals.

Pros: Active and Responsive Agent: The agent was consistently proactive and attentive throughout the planning process. She responded promptly to all our queries and concerns without any need for reminders, making the experience smooth and hassle-free. Timely and Well-Maintained Cab Service: Our cab arrived on time, which helped us keep to our schedule efficiently. The vehicle provided was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Excellent Drivers: The drivers assigned to us were exceptional in terms of communication, behavior, and navigation skills. They were respectful, reliable, and made us feel safe throughout our journey. Cons: Lack of Transparency About Hotel Quality (Sea Hills, Port Blair): Although we selected the hotel Sea Hills in Port Blair ourselves, the agent, being familiar with the area, could have advised us about its poor quality. It would have been helpful to receive her local insights, as we later found out that many of the positive Google reviews for this hotel were misleading. Inadequate Vehicle Choice: With a group of seven adults, including four senior citizens and one baby, the Ertiga provided felt cramped for longer drives. A more spacious vehicle, such as a Xylo, would have been ideal for comfort. Unfortunately, this was not considered, which led to some discomfort for our group. Poor Hotel Room Quality in Last Stay (Sea Hills, Port Blair): The room we received at Sea Hills was below standard, with limited space and a bed positioned against the wall, giving a cramped and budget feel. Considering our group size and needs, we had expected a higher-quality room.

The tour was very well planned. All the hotels were good. The bangalore hotel, Treebo akshaya was spacious however they do not provide dinner and breakfast was too poor. Mysuru hotel, Le Ruchi prince was excellent. Buffet dinner was superb, had multiple veg and non veg varieties. Rooms were so classy and the staff was so helpful. Ooty hotel, Delightzz inn was the best best. Location, staff, food quality, rooms, Ambiance, staff everything was outstanding. Best part of the trip was when we travelled all the way from Mysuru to Ooty and the hotel is at the top of the hill. Literally at the end of the hill and when we entered that was the best best part.

During driving it catched up smoke by engine, when we called travel agent she neither received our call nor call us back. Anyways, the overall experience was good especially as per price point.
