My Experience with Ozzo Kashmir Holidays – A Well-Planned Trip I recently booked a Kashmir tour package with Ozzo Kashmir Holidays, and overall, my experience was quite good. The itinerary was well-planned, covering all the major attractions like Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam, and Doodhpathri. From scenic landscapes to comfortable travel arrangements, everything was managed smoothly. Travel & Sightseeing Experience The sightseeing experience was fantastic. Each destination had its own charm—whether it was the breathtaking Dal Lake, the snow-covered Thajiwas Glacier, or the lush green meadows of Doodhpathri. I especially enjoyed the Shikara ride on Dal Lake, the Betaab Valley, and the Gondola ride in Gulmarg. The trip was planned in a way that allowed me to explore the beauty of Kashmir without feeling rushed. Transport & Driver Experience The driver assigned to us was very professional and well-mannered. His nature was friendly, and he guided us well throughout the journey. He made sure that our travel between different locations was comfortable and hassle-free. Hotel Reviews The hotels booked by Ozzo Kashmir Holidays were a mix of good and average experiences. Here’s my detailed review: Hotel Azara, Srinagar (2-star) – The service was average, and cleanliness was not up to the mark. (Rating: 2/10) Sea View, Srinagar – Service was good, and the stay was comfortable. (Rating: 8/10) Petals of Chinar, Srinagar – The worst hotel in the entire trip. No hot water for a bath, and the staff was not cooperative. (Rating: 1/10) Signature, Gulmarg – Service was excellent, and the stay was pleasant. (Rating: 8/10) Diamondstar, Pahalgam – A good experience, though there was room for improvement. (Rating: 7/10) Divineoak, Katra (2-star) – Service was just okay, nothing special. (Rating: 3/10) Overall Experience & Recommendation Apart from a couple of hotel experiences, the trip was well-organized, and I would recommend Ozzo Kashmir Holidays for their efficient planning and execution. The sightseeing was great, the transport was smooth, and the driver was cooperative. If they improve their hotel selection, the experience can be even better. The best part of the trip was the Cab driver, Muzammil who was driver cum guide, very polite, jovial and a wonderful human being. He elevated our kashmir experience to nex level, and one which we will remember for a long time. The services provided by Himalayan Gateways were exactly as per brochure and that was the best part. Will definitely recommend Himalayan gateways if you want to book your Kashmir package for a good experience.

Firstly, the itinerary provided was well-planned and covered some of the most stunning destinations in the region, including Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam. The transportation arrangements were comfortable, and the vehicle was clean and well-maintained. Our car Driver was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable by sharing interesting insights about the local culture and history. The accommodations were generally good, though a few could benefit from better maintenance. For instance for Pahalgam stay. However, the locations of the hotels were excellent, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes. The food provided during the trip was delicious, and it was a great introduction to Kashmiri cuisine. However, I would suggest offering more variety, especially for travelers with dietary restrictions. Out of the three, only one hotel in Gulmarg was extremely good. Hotel in Pahalgam lacked many services, including proper heater, which was necessary during such temperatures. Hotel in Srinagar also lacked few services despite being a 4 starproperty and was located in a very secluded place, close to local market instead of tourist market, and we had to commute for about 5-6 Kms even for small things. Overall experience about the cab and driver was good, except for a few small things.

Food & Accommodation: Grand Mir International: Great food, but my bed had a broken ply. The issue was temporarily fixed, and I got a new room the next day. Check bed condition at check-in. White Water Resort Pahalgam: My request for a front-side view room was not honored, despite prior instructions. Many travelers faced similar issues. Extra beds were uncomfortable, and check-in/room selection took over an hour. Heevan Houseboat: Average food for vegetarians. Have a proper meal in Srinagar beforehand. Sightseeing & Tips: Pahalgam requires two days: Day 1: ABC Valley and nearby points. Day 2: Baisaran Valley. Stay near the taxi stand/main market in Pahalgam for convenience. Shankaracharya Temple closes at 4:30 PM; plan accordingly. At Sonmarg, negotiate for boots/jackets and pay via UPI or keep proof of payment. Health & Budget: Avoid overeating makki ki roti and sarson ka saag from Doodhpathri; it caused stomach issues. Carry ₹7,000–₹10,000 cash per person for sightseeing. These tips can help ensure a smoother experience in Kashmir.
