A place of historical significance, Namada Chilume, has a small streak of flowing water from a circular hole. Hence, the place got its name, ‘Namada Chilume,’ meaning ‘spring of Tilaka.’ The water has not dried up since that time. A foot impression near the spring is said to be that of Lord Rama.
