Vinay's 7 days trip to Vietnam

We had a 7 day family trip of 8 adults and 2 kids with svietnam travels. Our travel agent Jenna was great and very helpful. However, there were a few shortcomings. Overall rating of 3.5/5 Pros 1. The travel agent was very helpful and coordinate with us through out 2. Vietnam is a fantastic country and people are very polite and helpful. The places are scenic and tourism is very well regulated 3. All tours were on time and as per what was promoted on photos Cons 1. We took a 5 star overnight ambassador cruise and 5 of us ended up with food poisoning. Although promoted as a luxury cruise, the quality of food seems suboptimal. 2. The English speaking guides at few places hardly spoke any English 3. One of the hotels had broken plumbing without hot water for 2 days !!!

Kaushik's 10 days trip to Vietnam

The planner Sophie was amazing in co-ordination and smooth operation of the trip. There were instances where additional requests were made and it was accomodate to suit our requirements. She was very supportive and transparent in helping us have the best experience. Overall we enjoyed the trip and the deal was reasonable for us. Couple of things like veg food, timing of the halts and were kind of trade off we had to make but it was fine as such.

Vinay's 7 days trip to Vietnam

We were assured hotels with 4 star category. But hotels in Ho Chi Minh city & Hanoi were not of this category. The room was too small at HCM. The room at Hanoi was ill equipped as far as infrastructure was concerned. The Ha Long bay Cruise was a memorable one. The Mekong Delta trip was also a good one.
