Best Places for Water Sports in Andaman
Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex, Port Blair
The main water-sports hub in the capital, close to the airport. Jet ski, speedboat, kayaking and paddle boats run here through the day, and it is an easy first stop on arrival before you head north to the islands.
North Bay Island
A 20 to 30 minute boat ride from Port Blair, this is where most first-timers do the sea walk, scuba and glass-bottom or semi-submarine rides over the reef. Half a day covers the main activities.
Elephant Beach, Havelock (Swaraj Dweep)
Reached by a short boat ride from Havelock jetty, Elephant Beach is the snorkelling and water-sports centre, with scuba, jet ski, banana rides and parasailing on a shallow, calm stretch. Corbyn's Cove near Port Blair is the other easy jet-ski and surfing beach if you are short on time.
Bharatpur Beach, Neil (Shaheed Dweep)
Calm and shallow, Bharatpur is the best first-time snorkelling spot, with glass-bottom boats, jet ski and banana rides. Laxmanpur nearby is the sunset beach. Radhanagar on Havelock is for swimming and sunsets rather than sports, but it is worth the trip.

Fly into Veer Savarkar International Airport (IXZ) at Port Blair, connected to Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Delhi and other Indian cities.
