- Bharatpur Beach at Neil Island: Located about 37 km away from Port Blair, this is the only beach in Neil Island that offers some adventurous activities. The main activity here is coral watching. You can also view the corals by hiring a glass-bottom boat. Snorkeling, swimming, Jet Ski rides, and scuba diving are also done here.
- Cinque Island: This Island is located between the Duncan Passage Island and Rutland Island. This place is famous for underwater diving, camping, scuba diving, fishing, and snorkeling. You can also take a boat ride here and can enjoy the sunset from here, which looks magical.
- Elephant Beach at Havelock Island: This is one of the best places for doing water sports in Andaman. This island is surrounded by coral reef gardens which make this place ideal for snorkeling. One can hire glass bottom boats to see the corals underwater. You can reach the Elephant Island through private ferries from Havelock Island.
- North Bay Island: It is also a famous spot for doing venturous sports. This island is situated 29 km from Port Blair. This place is well known for sea walk and snorkeling, which is the best way to explore the underwater marine life. Sea walking is the safest of all water sports.
- Laxmanpur Beach at Neil Island: This scenic beauty here is breath-taking. The views of sunrise and sunset are mesmerizing from here. This place has also emerged as a popular spot for sports activities. Scuba diving and snorkeling are two famous attractions here. This place, on one hand, is famous for its scenic beauty and serenity and on the other hand, is famous for adventure sports.
Ideal Time to Visit Andaman and Nicobar Islands
The temperature remains around 24°C to 36°C. This is when you can indulge in many summer activities. The season of monsoon (May to September) should be avoided as it is not an eventful time of the year. It becomes risky to take part in various activities during this time.
