Given below are some of the Cambodia points of interest that everyone must visit:

1. Angkor Wat

Built in the 12th century, the temple represents the basic idea of the Hindu culture that is, the mountains are the home of Gods. The main temple of Angkor Wat is built on a raised platform and is surrounded by a reservoir. The architecture of the temple is marvelous and very beautiful making it one of the best places to visit in Cambodia.

2. Bayon Temple

The Bayon Temple is one of the places of interest in Cambodia. It consists of over 200 faces carved on stones and looking in different directions. The real purpose of these faces is not known. However, it is said to be of King Jayavarman VII who built it in the 12th century. These faces look like a mix of the king’s face and Lord Buddha’s face.

3. Koh Ker

The archaeological site in northern Cambodia is one of the Cambodia sightseeing places which was once the capital of Khmer Empire in Cambodia. The place is a Cambodia tourist attraction because of various buildings with beautiful architecture of different eras, that are present in this place. The highlight of this place is a 30 m tall temple pyramid known as Prasat Thom. At the apex of the tower, there is a small Garuda carved from rock that guards the place.

4. Bokor Hill Station

Bokor Hill Station is a Cambodia tourist attraction for those who are hungry for adventure. The place has many abandoned buildings, and currently, it is closed for reconstruction. However, there are various hiking tours that can take people to explore this place. Traveling to this place on your own is currently impossible.

5. Silver Pagoda

To see the best of Cambodia, one must definitely visit the Silver Pagoda which houses all the gold and treasures of Cambodia. The place is very beautifully made and attracts a lot of tourists every year. The best thing about the place is that its walls are richly decorated with paintings and murals from the Ramayana.

6. Sihanoukville

Also known as Kampong Song, Sihanoukville is one of the best cities to visit in Cambodia near the Gulf of Thailand. The main attraction of this port city is its beaches and other nearby tropical islands where people go to spend some time away from the hustle bustle of the big cities. The place gives a beautiful view of the ocean and other surrounding areas.

Thus, these were some of the Cambodia places to see that all the tourists must visit at least once in order to have some nice vacation time with their friends and family and to enjoy the culture and lifestyle of the people of Cambodia.

    • Trip to Cambodia

Sameer from Lotus Incoming was easily contactable when needed. He made all efforts to ensure I had a comfortable stay in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. He personally came to receive me at the Siem Reap airport. The hotels he arranged for were top class and the tour guide in Siem Reap (Smith Chau) and the driver (Mav) were excellent. The car qualify was excellent too. I had a very pleasant trip overall and would highly recommend them,

    • Trip to Cambodia

We were told that we have 30 kg allowance for both international flights to and from India but thai airways has changed it to 20 kg which we were not aware of.It was a messy tensed situation at the airport since we had shopped at Bangkok and our luggage was exceeding 20 kg.we had to pay surcharges. I just wish the flight team had intimidated us before. Our trip was memorable but for this unforeseen situation
