How to Reach Mashobra in Shimla

The town is about 30 minutes east of Shimla. The nearest airport from Shimla is located 23 km away in Jubbarhatti. The Shimla Airport is served by commercial flights from New Delhi, provided by Alliance Air. The closest broad-gauge train station is located 90 km away in Kalka. From here travellers can board the world famous Kalka-Shimla train. The journey might be slower but the route offers stunning views of mountains in the vicinity.

If you are planning to come over from Delhi, then you can take National Highway 44 to reach Chandigarh from Delhi by road. Then follow NH 22 that passes through Shimla. Mashobra is located about 130 km from Chandigarh and 390 km from Delhi. HRTC Volvo and private buses run between Delhi and Shimla. Travellers can also hire a private taxi from Chandigarh or Delhi.
