How to Reach Mohan Shakti National Park in Solan

Solan receives millions of tourists every year because of its ideal weather conditions and attractive tourist spots. Mohan Shakti park is one of these tourist attractions that is a popular spot amongst locals and tourists. However, tourists sometimes get confused regarding how to reach Mohan National Heritage Park. You can reach the park by various means of transport like car, bus, and train.

By Bus: If you are planning to travel around Solan on a bus, there are many intercity buses that stop at Mohan National Park. These buses are specially made for tourist movements. The starting time of these buses is usually during the early hours in the morning, approximately at 5 am and 6 am. At night you only have the local buses functioning. The nearest bus stop to Mohan National Park is the By-Pass Solan bus station. After alighting at this stop, you can book a cab to the park which is approximately at a distance of 10 kilometers.

By Train: You can travel to Mohan National Heritage Park by train. The timings of the train are mentioned on the tickets which you have to book at least one week in advance. The closest railway station to the park is the Salogra railway station. After alighting at this station, you can book a cab to the park which is just at a mere distance of approximately 6 kilometers.

By Car: The most ideal way to travel to the Mohan National Park is by booking a cab or hiring a car. The cab drops you right in front of the park and also picks you up when you are ready to go. Discuss a fair price with the driver before setting off for a journey to the park.

Krishna's 7 days trip to Solan

Overall a good experience but hotels in Dharamshala and Dalhousie could have been better. Cab driver was excellent.

We had a wonderful 5-day trip to Shimla and Chail, all thanks to Sandeep Ji from Turn On Vacation. He managed everything perfectly, including the hotel stay, cab service, and sightseeing. He regularly checked in with us to ensure everything was going smoothly, making the entire trip completely hassl

e-free. Our stay at Manaw Valley Resort, Shimla, was excellent. The rooms, food, beautiful views, and hospitality were all amazing. Special thanks to Kunal from the hotel’s restaurant team for his polite, friendly, and helpful behaviour. After a previous disappointing experience with another travel agent, Sandeep Ji truly restored my confidence in travel packages through his professionalism and personal attention. Highly recommend Turn On Vacation, Sandeep Ji, Kunal, and the entire Manaw Valley Resort team! Thank you for making our trip so memorable.

This tour was only for Cab - Pathankot pick up - Dharamshala Sight Seeing and Srinagar Drop. 1st Cab Ertiga of Pradeep Ji was nice and He managed to cover the points even our arrival got delayed (Train) He dropped us till Jammu and then arrange another Cab to drop at Srinagar that cab was not good

an old Inova with no seat belt and covers. The overall costing was more as the package was only for Cab and not stay. Thanks for serving us. Dharamshala Sight Seeing

It was a nice and comfortable trip. The hotels and everything was very well arranged. No problem was faced during the trip

Tarun Goyal

Tarun's 5 days trip to Solan

Our recent experience with the agency was mixed due to several issues: Driver working hours – There was no clear mention of the driver’s working timings in the itinerary or booking details. This led to confusion and inconvenience during the trip. According to him his timings were from 6 am to 8 pm

which we were not informed at the timing of booking or later also. Chandigarh itinerary – The planned schedule for Chandigarh was unrealistic and could not be followed as promised. I had even pointed out the same but yet was told that those activities were possible. This reflects poor planning and lack of practical consideration for travel time and feasibility. Hotel selection – On a positive note, the hotels chosen were well-selected and provided a comfortable stay, which was the highlight of the trip.
