About Bajra Sandhi Monument In Bali

The Bajra Sandhi Monument in Bali is placed on the Niti Mandela Renon Public Park. Locally it is also called at the Puputan Park. Locals of Denpasar use the green square of the park every day to cycle, jog, exercise, play football, or do yoga. Until late morning, the park is filled with people dedicated to morning fitness.

Structure of Bajra Sandi Monument

Utama Mandala, Madya Mandala, and Nista Mandala are the three core architectural principles behind the rectangular shape of the monument. Utama Mandela is the center, Madya Mandala surrounds the Utama Mandela, and Nista Mandala surrounds the Madya Mandela. There are three floors in the building of Utama Mandela. There are also an exhibition room, an administrative office, and a library. There is a lake called Puser Tasik at the center of the ground floor with is the highlight of the monument.

33 dioramas (miniature theatrical exhibits in museums) are placed on the first floor of Madya Utama. All the dioramas narrate the struggles of the people of Bali covering ancient history, Balinese Monarchy, religion, western colonialism and struggle for independence. The observation deck is on the second floor to give a panoramic view of the city of Denpasar.

The trip was really good and the agents helped us in every possible way due to bad weather our nusa penida trip got cancelled but agents changed our itinerary upside down due to which we had to travel more hut we did able to go to nusa penida on the last day of our trip. Cab driver was very helpful and did as we asked did made sure that we had a great experience. We got late few times but was very patience and helpfull. He took us to the market as well which was not planned I feel hotels could be more better one thing everyone should notice that indian food options at the hotels in few of our stay there were no options for that
