About Taraporewala Aquarium in Mumbai

Some of the many fishes that one can spot at this Taraporewala Aquarium, Mumbai are aquarium are moray eels, sharks, stingrays, turtles, and starfishes, etc. Moreover, one can also spot here some of the coral fishes. One can easily avail of a ticket from the ticket window between 10.00 AM and 1.00 PM and 2.00 PM and 5.00 PM. Note that the ticket remains valid for only one hour from purchase. The nearest railway station from this aquarium is Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Station. Another point to note is that photography is not allowed inside this aquarium. If someone wants to indulge in photography, there are different rates for photography done through different cameras. For mobile photography - INR 500; Camera photography - INR 1000; DSLR photography - INR 5000; Videography photography - INR 10,000.

Touch Pool

Touch Pool is another highlight of Taraporewala Aquarium in Mumbai. This section of the pool allows you to observe the fishes and other sea animals closely in a different water tank with shallow water.

However, as per the policy of the aquarium, it does not allow you to handle the creatures since it could be dangerous for the marine animals. But you can closely observe the sea creatures such as starfishes and small fishes under the supervision of professionals.
