About Sahastradhara Ropeway in Dehradun
Sahastradhara, or thousand fold spring is a popular tourist spot in Dehradun and is visited by everyone who visits this hilly paradise in Uttrakhand. Sahastradhara in Dehradun is located at the banks of river Badli, hence comprises of a lot of caves and waterfalls along with freshwater sulphur springs, whose water is of medicinal properties and flows from the limestone dipstones. Since the water contains sulphur here, it is now being called as Sulphur spring this water spring is famous for its soothing and aesthetic experience. The best time to visit these spring is from October to March. These springs have a fall of approximately 10 metres at some places.
