About Trekking in Dharamshala
Trekking in Dharamshala is a major attraction for those in love with the adrenaline rush that comes from scaling heights and watching the snow peaked mountains come closer to you as you walk towards them. The beautiful lush green trails keep you company, as well as the burbling brooks that fall down from a height of several hundred meters and offer a respite from the hot afternoon sun. There are several trekking trails in Dharamshala, including the Triund Trek, Kareri Lake Trek, the Indrahar Pass Trek and the Kangra Valley Trek among others. Some of the treks in Dharamshala such as the Triund Trek can be covered in a day, and that too without a guide. However, some of the other treks such as the Kareri Lake Trek and the Indrahar Pass Trek need to be comfortably covered in a few days, and preferably with a guide. Food shacks are available all over the trekking trail, at designated spots, and you can enjoy a brief stop here before carrying on forward. Places to set up camp are also available, and if you are not carrying your own tents then you can hire them from the nearby shacks.
Depending upon your fitness level and how much time you can spend in the wilderness, choose an ideal trek for you, and embark on a journey to explore the forestland and mountains of Dharamshala.

Omi's 3 days trip to DharamshalaHotel was not good, people was good . Food is taste less not good at all. service is ok there . Staff of hotel is good. Solang valley snow is good. The cab driver is very good and attended us very well
Abhijeet's 4 days trip to DharamshalaThe hotel room was said as luxury room. It was nice room with great view. But it was completely made up of granites which was more cooled than outer temperature causing a must need of room heater. And that costs extra. Only soap was provided as a toiletries and single towel for two people. No shampoo or conditioner provided. The volvo booked took extra money for luggage. I have told i do not need to pay any tip or extra charges for volvo and cab. But i had to pay. I called agent for the extra unnecessary cost but he says you have to pay. A bull shit. Why should passanger pay extra for a single luggage bag if he has ticket booked?

Siddharth's 5 days trip to DharamshalaExcellent services provided throughout the trip, special thanks to Mr. Sandeep Sharma.
Madhur's 7 days trip to DharamshalaHad Great experience with the trip. Travel agent was nice to interact with and explained in detailed. Pros: 1. Would guide with places to visit. 2. Explain what are the best options, when looking for alternatives. 3. Even in trip would check daily if there are any issue. Recommendations: When we inform of any spl. event (like b'day or anniversary), need to ask for arrangements for it (we would be ready to pay for it). That is the reason for 4. If not, it would be 5 star. Hotels: 1. Dalhousie - amazing 2. Manali - awesome. 3. Shimla - not happy ( thats why 3 not 5 stars). Driver: Mandeep, is an amazing guy to interact with. Very calm and answered when asked questions. Ready to move whenever we wanted to go out. View from Manali room
