About Trekking in Dharamshala
Trekking in Dharamshala is a major attraction for those in love with the adrenaline rush that comes from scaling heights and watching the snow peaked mountains come closer to you as you walk towards them. The beautiful lush green trails keep you company, as well as the burbling brooks that fall down from a height of several hundred meters and offer a respite from the hot afternoon sun. There are several trekking trails in Dharamshala, including the Triund Trek, Kareri Lake Trek, the Indrahar Pass Trek and the Kangra Valley Trek among others. Some of the treks in Dharamshala such as the Triund Trek can be covered in a day, and that too without a guide. However, some of the other treks such as the Kareri Lake Trek and the Indrahar Pass Trek need to be comfortably covered in a few days, and preferably with a guide. Food shacks are available all over the trekking trail, at designated spots, and you can enjoy a brief stop here before carrying on forward. Places to set up camp are also available, and if you are not carrying your own tents then you can hire them from the nearby shacks.
Depending upon your fitness level and how much time you can spend in the wilderness, choose an ideal trek for you, and embark on a journey to explore the forestland and mountains of Dharamshala.

Nigel's 3 days trip to DharamshalaThe whole experience was great. We chose one of the two vendors offered to us by Travel triangle based on the pricing and the package. The hotel we selected had a beautiful view of the river and snow clad mountains. The trip was well organised and we had a great time in Manali Climbing up through the snow mountains of Solang valley was the best memory of the trip
Ritika's 4 days trip to DharamshalaPooja travel agent planned everything as per need, she was very helpful throughout and our trip was good. We enjoyed a lot... The only issue issue was driver assigned on the trip wasn't aware of locations as was dependable on google map but on hill station we always have network issue so we faced issue with locating the location.
Akpndy's 3 days trip to DharamshalaNot a professional agency. Driver was really good. Stay was below average. Power failure occurs many times
Vinayries's 8 days trip to DharamshalaHotel mount view booking was mismanaged and we are not happy with that. Overall good
Nitin's 6 days trip to DharamshalaIt was very nice experience by booking tour through Travel Triangle. TT assured me perfect quality and trouble free tour. We have family tour of HimaChal of 8 days and 7 nights and got 3 star hotels at all 4 locations Shukla, Manali, Dharma shala and Dalhousie in reasonable price. All hotels rooms and services were of good quality except of hotel vijay palace Dharma shala. Food quality was also awesome at all hotels. Driver and vehicle provided for tour was also good. We all enjoyed our tour . We got snowfall at Kufri Shimla which was memorable experience for all of us.
Naveena's 3 days trip to DharamshalaBetter not to book with this travel agency. Travel agent Dheeraj was only helpful with the travel plan and bookings. But when we needed help, he turned his back on us. Travel agency did not take much care in booking the right drive at all. Driver was not at all aware of our itinerary or cared to listen to us. And when he was asked to pick us up at a point, he straight away rejected though the distance he has to travel back was just 3kms. We explained this situation to Dheeraj for help, but was useless. Funny part is the driver dropped us in that location few hours back and it was so hard to explain this to the driver or Dheeraj. Even locals tried to help us explain this to the driver, but stopped after hearing driver's rant. At a point, we were stuck on the road in cold weather and helpless as we can't explain to driver and Dheeraj was rude. He doesn't know how to deliver client's feedback to the driver at all. Driver argued with us for 30mins after picking up and didn't respect us at all for the feedback. On the last day, we tried to give 200rs for the driver as he had to travel back 3 times to pick us up the other day and for the fuel he had to use. He didn't accept the money saying he need minimum 500rs or doesn't need at all. Then also he was rude and didn't behave well. Finally our trip was a disaster because of this agency's planning and execution. Only good thing was the hotel and it's food and staff.
