The Jubbarhatti Airport (SLV) in Shimla is the nearest airport to Shoghi. Shimla Airport, served by regular domestic flights, is located around 21.4 kilometres from Shoghi. There are Delhi to Shoghi non-stop flights by Alliance Air. Average flight duration between Delhi and Shimla Airport is about one hour. From Shimla to Shoghi, one can either take the highway via car and bus or board the scenic Kalka-Shimla train for a much more memorable journey.

The distance between Shimla and Shoghi is about 15 km along the NH 22. Shoghi to Shimla distance can be covered via car in 30 minutes. Delhi to Shoghi distance via Chandigarh by road is about 330 kilometres. The road trip to Shoghi from Delhi can be finished in 7 to 8 hours. The distance between Chandigarh and Shoghi is 100 km and Chandigarh Railway Station is the nearest major railhead from Shimla and Shoghi.

Shoghi is easily approachable by road from Chandigarh, Delhi, and Shimla. Road conditions are good when compared with other roads in Himachal Pradesh. Travel time between Chandigarh and Shoghi is about 3 hours by bus or taxi. There are 24-hour bus services between Delhi and Shimla which make a stop in Shoghi. Both Volvo and non-AC buses are available from Kashmiri Gate ISBT in New Delhi. HRTC runs overnight buses between Delhi and Shimla around the year.

The railway station in Shoghi lies on the UNESCO-recognised Kalka-Shimla Railway line. Shoghi Railway Station is located near the main market of the town at the height of 1,833 metres above sea level.
