By Train- The nearest railway station to Kurisumala hills is Kottayam. The railway station comes under domestic station in India. You can board this train from another city and alight at Kottayam at an affordable rate and in a comfortable manner. The trains run all throughout the day but tickets need to be booked early in the morning through online or physical means.

By Bus- Direct buses run to and fro between so many cities and Vagamon. There are so many local tourist buses that function throughout the day and drops its visitors at Vagamon. Vagamon is the nearest bus station near Kurisumala. It is advisable to catch a bus during the day time, as it takes approximately 20 minutes to reach the destination if the road is clear. Apart from the traveling time, you will get enough time to roam around the hills.
