Layout of Ooty Botanical Garden

Lower Garden: The lower garden consists of Kikuyu grass, spread across like a gorgeous green carpet. The highlight of the lower garden is the stunning design of the Indian Union made with different varieties of plants, flowers, and trees.

Italian Garden: Italian Garden was laid down by the Italian prisoners of World War. This part of the garden follows typical Italian lay-out and looks astoundingly gorgeous.

New Garden: The new garden mainly consists of a wide variety of roses and its hybrids. A huge part of the land is covered under colorful, vibrant, and fragrant rose flowers and also, has a small pond.

Nurseries: The Botanical garden in Ooty is also home to nurseries that breed and conserve exotic plants.

Flower Show at Ooty Botanical Garden

There is also an Ooty botanical garden flower show that is a must-visit when here. It is held in the month of May, with the entire garden riotously colored with a variety of flowers. The flower show is held for two days and is even home to a flower competition. Truly, this place is the best botanical garden in India and warrants a visit whenever one is in Ooty.

Vinay's 4 days trip to Ooty

Hotels are very good... liked them very much. Apart from that, we got new driver every day who don't know what is the plan and need to explain them every time. Planning is not proper. Thanks to sameera who was helpful when required. But the person who is managing the things at ooty, he is not at all good. He don't pick up phone when in need. He just ignore. He itself saying their drivers are idiots. Had problems with the driver. They will come very late which ruins all the plans of the day.

Varadharaj's 4 days trip to Ooty

Awesome Hotel... Amazing view.. Felt like we are staying in the clouds. Away from the hustle n bustle of commercial Ooty, i recommend this Hotel to everyone. If u lobe nature and want peace of mind, this is the place. The Cab driver - Shanmugam was very decent n courteous. He made sure we are comfortable n didnt rush us. I wish i could say the same for our Travel Agent - Victory World.. I used to get calls from them frequently before the booking.. but once the booking n payment was done, i was the one who was calling them up for details. No initiative from them. I was promised Toy train tickets which i did not get due to their negligence. Overall the trip was amazing but it would have been even better if our Travel Agent's services was better.
