About James Bond Island in Phuket

The famous landmark of the place Phang Nga Bay is the James Bond Island. The reason behind this peculiar name is its importance as a character in the James Bond Movie, The Man with the Golden Gun. Since then, it has marked itself to be a prominent place of attraction on the world map. It is not only because of this movie that it has retained its loyal tourist base. It is also replete with nature and its byproducts. Also, the James Bond Island Thailand is known for the limestone cliffs that stand out from the green waters.

Kao Phing Kan and Ko Tapu were two small islets, known for their awesome beauty. Since 1974, after their beauty was revealed to the entire world in the movie, they are popularly known as James Bond Island. Phang Nga Bay is a home to about 100 islands but the reason why James Bond Island Phuket is more popular is its rocky and rough terrains. This is a beauty of another kind which has been attracting tourists from all over the world. It also comes under the newly formed Ao Phang Nga Marine National Park. The place is basically a huge piece of rock with small caves here and there, which make the place all the way more tempting to explore.

The best part about James Bond Island Thailand is its flora and fauna. The mangrove forests and the abundance of marine life make it more appealing to the masses. James Bond Island activities also include zooming around the islands and the caves by a speedboat or a long-tail boat. Relaxing on the boat or swimming in the calm waters is also a favourite thing to do. We had worst experience on arrival at Phuket, the itinerary has been changed but no information shared, moreover the phi-phi island trip cancelled without any reason. We have enquired with other trip agents whether there is any govt notification for cancellation of island journey on 3rd January but

they confirmed that they sent 11 passenger for phi-phi island for that day . So we have wasted our entire trip of Phuket. Going from far off places depending on the agents had our worst night mare. We had enjoyed at our own. From 4th January we have enjoyed our trip managed by Travel agent. Our suggestions: they should have command over their overseas partner for better communication and management. Now we are awaiting our refund of cancellation of phi- phi island trip amount also the compensation for loss of time and mental tensions upto 3rd January. 4 island trip at Krabi.
