Tosh Holiday Packages

When you’re looking for a quiet escape from the humdrum of routine then the serene Tosh village ensconced in the lush Parvati valley offers the much-needed respite to unwind and recharge your senses in the lap of pristine nature. Untouched by the ravages of modern life, Tosh allures adventurer lovers and intrepid travellers to explore its lush vistas and get rejuvenated by the unpolluted mountain breeze.
With its well-preserved culture and unparalleled natural beauty, Tosh is one of the delightful secrets of the Kasol region.

Surrounded by towering snow-capped mountains and nestled deep inside the Parvati valley, Tosh offers a unique experience with its simple village vibes and unblemished natural beauty. While trekking enthusiasts can head out for myriad hiking routes including the popular Kheerganga as well as Buddhaban treks, others can spend leisurely days exploring the hidden wonders of Parvati valley at their own pace. Due to its growing popularity, Tosh also has a host of quaint cafes with scenic views and delicious meals ranging from Italian, European and Indian to israeli cuisines. The tranquil village also serves as a base for exploring other popular places like the hot-springs of Manikaran Sahib and experiencing the bohemian vibes of Kasol. Our Tosh trip packages take you far away from the maddening crowds and on a tryst with the blissful existence of this charming village.

Places To Visit

1. Manikaran Sahib

The revered site of Manikaran is an important pilgrimage for both Sikhs and Hindus and can easily be explored from Tosh. Just an hour’s drive away, Manikaran exudes spiritual vibes and is well known for its hot water springs.

2. Temple of Barshaini

Barshaini is not just the place where you hire a cab for Tosh or trek up from, but also home to a serene temple with breathtaking views all around. The Barshaini dam close by makes it even more enchanting and worthy of a visit during your Tosh trip.

3. Kheerganga

Those who love to explore the wilderness and enjoy trekking must not miss a visit to Kheerganga which can be easily reached from Tosh after a comfortable 5-6 hour trek. You can witness magnificent waterfalls and scenic views all along the way.

4. Kasol

When in Tosh, you must definitely make a day trip to the popular backpacker haven of Kasol that charms travellers with its gorgeous setting, quirky cafes and party vibes. Located just 22Kms away from Tosh, it can be easily reached by a hired taxi or changing a bus from Barshaini.

5. Rudranaag

This heavenly site is almost half way between Barshaini and Kheerganga when you take the forest route through Nathan village. The gushing waterfall, mesmerising natural beauty and small food kiosks make it an ideal place to stop by or camp for a night.

How To Reach

By Road

Tosh is easily accessible by road from major cities like Delhi and Chandigarh. You can take a bus to Manali. Thereafter, you need to disembark at Bhuntar and take another bus or cab to Kasol. Kasol is not directly connected to Tosh by public bus service so you’ll need to either take a taxi directly to Kasol or a bus to your next stop, Bushaini. Adventurous souls can hike up to Tosh through a scenic route, while others can take a fixed-rate taxi to reach this heavenly village in the Parvati valley. A similar route can be taken from Chandigarh.

By Air/train

Those travelling to Tosh from other Indian cities can reach Delhi or Chandigarh by train as well as flight and then follow the above route to reach the charming village. There is also an option for direct flight from Delhi to Bhuntar for a few months.

Best Time To Visit

Being perched at a height of 2400 metres, Tosh experiences a cool climate with pleasant summers and cold winters. While the summer season, with temperature hovering between 15-25 degrees, is considered the best time to experience Tosh and enjoy the outdoors, late spring and autumn are also a good time to witness this beautiful destination in its full glory. The rainy months from July to September should be avoided as there can be landslides and slippery pathways.

Summers (May-June)

Clear, bright days and cool evenings make the summer months a perfect time to plan your Tosh trip as you can indulge in all adventure activities and treks during this time. Even April is considered a good month to witness the spring and enjoy this blissful place.

Winters (November-February)

Tosh receives snowfall and experiences extremely cold weather during the winter months so those brave enough to face the chill and enjoy the snowfall can plan a visit during this time.

Shantanu's 6 days trip to Himachal

Almost hassle free experience with Akhil in the last week of March 2023. The tour plan was very good and to my own customization. All (but one in Naddi) hotels were very good and exactly as per my wish, e.g. I wanted a night stay in tent camping as well as a homestay. The hotel in Naddi was not great and upto the standard of other hotels. Similarly, the homestay at Tosh could have been a little more welcoming. But the hotels in Banikhet and Manali were exceptional. Also the food at almost all locations was outstanding. The driver, Subhashji, was also a very nice person and though, a little strict at times, was supportive on most occasions, even driving for a few extra kms. He also fought for us with his fellow friend, which was very kind to us! All in all, a very good experience!

I had quite good experience with Tanish Travels in my 9 days long trip. Services from travel agent, cab driver, hotel management was good. Had little issues with payment at certain times. Need to improve on the same, customer should be informed properly about the status of payment. And need to coordinate among the hotel, cab and travel triangle guys. Customer should not be bothered about these things. Solang valley snow point in Manali, parvati river side in Kasol and Tosh village was awesome places, we enjoyed a lot. The candle light dinner and apple wine in manali, arranged by hotel guys was great experience too. Thank you so much. Keep up with good service and improve it for better experience.
