How To Reach Vietnam From Hyderabad

By Air: With most of the Hyderabad to Vietnam flights, there are layovers at Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur or Singapore. The fastest one is flown by Thai Airways, with Hyderabad to Vietnam flight duration being 6 hours and 25 minutes. The others take longer – 10 hours to 13 hours at least. But since Hyderabad is in the southern part of India, flights are by far the most convenient way to travel to Vietnam.

By Rail: None of the Indian cities are connected with Vietnam via rail network because it is not possible geographically and also politically. But one can fly to China to access direct trains to the capital of Vietnam Hanoi from either Nanning, which is the shorter route or from Beijing, which is the longer one. Both these lines go to Gia Lam Railway Station in Hanoi. But the pace of the trains is slow, and there is rigorous checking for security reasons. Only if one is okay with that should they take the train ride?

By Road: To take the roadway from Hyderabad to Vietnam means spending around 110 hours on the journey. It is not very convenient for any regular tourists unless they absolutely must. Apart from being time-consuming, the journey of Hyderabad to Vietnam distance of 5797 km is physically taxing as well. Moreover, one needs all the documents and permits in order to cross so many international borders on the road trip to Vietnam and none with flexible border rules.
