Can I travel from India to Vietnam by road?

Only in theory. The road route runs from Moreh in Manipur through Myanmar, Thailand and Laos or Cambodia, about 4,900 to 5,300 km. The Moreh-Tamu crossing is currently closed to tourist transit, and even when open the route needs several visas, a Myanmar overland permit with a guide, and paperwork for your vehicle in every country, and conditions in Myanmar change often.
