Vietnam has three international airports – one each at Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City get the most traffic from India. There are numerous Delhi to Vietnam flights, and they operate quite frequently. They leave from Indira Gandhi International Airport on a regular basis. Opting for an airline is the best way to get from the Indian capital to Vietnam. Delhi to Vietnam distance by air is only 3000 km, which is much less than the land distance. Although, most flights are not direct and take layovers at Bangkok and Singapore, it is still the fastest route toreach here.

We recently completed our Vietnam trip and overall it was a wonderful experience. I would like to share my feedback about both the platform TravelTriangle and the travel agent Golden Footstep who handled our trip. The best part of using TravelTriangle is the ability to compare multiple travel quotes from different agents and customize the itinerary according to your needs and budget. This flexibility is very useful while planning an international trip. Through TravelTriangle, we were connected with Ms. Trang from Golden Footstep, and that turned out to be the highlight of our trip planning. Ms. Trang supported us at every stage — right from creating the itinerary, suggesting good hotels and activities, assisting with the e-visa process, advising about currency exchange, and answering even the smallest queries patiently and transparently. She has deep knowledge of the sightseeing places in Vietnam, which helped us plan the trip efficiently. Thanks to her planning, our visits to Hanoi, Sapa, Ninh Binh, and Ha Long Bay were smooth and memorable. I would definitely recommend Golden Footstep to anyone planning a Vietnam trip. However, I believe TravelTriangle as a platform still needs improvement. The website and app login experience is not very smooth, and the payment and invoicing process does not always feel transparent. In addition, the response from TravelTriangle’s customer support/trip guide was not very satisfactory in our case. Overall, the platform helped us connect with a good travel agent, and that made the trip successful. If TravelTriangle improves its platform experience and support system, it could become an even better service for travelers.

Improvement opportunity: During my Vietnam trip booking this year, my assigned advisor left the company without any notification, which caused a communication gap. After contacting customer care, a new advisor was assigned (Mr Kanwal) and he was very helpful and responsive. Overall, a great experience. Thank you, Travel Triangle, for making our trip memorable!

Joanna had dealt with my trip. Good things: 1) She was always on watsapp message 2) She was diligent while sending guide details or driver details on time without me asking for it 3) She made sure we got help on couple of things which is highly admirable. Things which can Improve: 1) The Guide(s) service needs improvement. 2) One of the Cab driver - in Hanoi/Halong trip (his name is Tung) has 2 bad habits (A) Smoking a lot. At times the inside of the car would smell (B) Always on phone while driving. he was either talking to someone or worse, texting with someone while driving on highway, city road. This was really uncomfortable. I have shared a video with Joanna where you can see him using phone while driving. this is just one such instance. Though, he was polite and on time but Asia Travels must take note of his 2 bad habits.
